Born in Genoa in 1983, Nicola Capuzzo He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Maritime and Transport Economics in 2006 and a Master's Degree in Maritime and Port Economics and Management in 2007 from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Genoa. In 2004 and 2005, he attended several exam courses in maritime economics at the University of Antwerp, Belgium.

In 2006, he began working as a journalist for the online publication Ship2Shore, and over the following years he gradually specialized in economics and finance as it applies to the world of logistics, ports, and transportation. Since 2009, he has written for various publications of the Class Editori group, particularly MF-MilanoFinanza, for which he edits the MF Shipping&Logistica column every Friday.

He is currently the Italian correspondent for the international magazines International Transport Journal, Ferry Shipping News, and RailFreight.com. He has previously worked for other international publications, including Lloyd's List, Splash247, Maritime CEO, CargoNewsAsia, Heavy Lift & Project Forwarding International, and Tanker Operator. In Italy, he has also written for TrasportoEuropa.it, Il Giornale della Logistica, TIR – Il mensile dell'autotrasporto, LogisticaEfficiente, and others.
