The explorer yacht expands the Rj range thanks to owner customization

Cantiere delle Marche recently launched the new RJ102 Mon Coeur, a 31-meter steel-hulled explorer yacht that expands the RJ series to a more compact size. As Vasco Buonpensiere, co-founder and CEO of the company, explained, the new explorer yacht stems from the specific vision of its clients, pushing the RJ family of models toward a more compact size for the first time through close collaboration with designer Francesco Paszkowski.

The project, Paszkowski explains, was challenging because it required maintaining the distinctive features, the rigorous profile, and the cruising range typical of larger vessels within a reduced configuration. In particular, the designer worked to preserve the imposing presence and safety of the RJ line, translating them into a design that faithfully reflected the owner's requests, maintaining a consistent and recognizable aesthetic, yet with its own specificity.

The RJ102 hull has a beam of 7,25 meters and a full load displacement of 250 tons. Her contemporary exterior lines 'hide' an explorer yacht equipped for long ocean voyages thanks to a fuel capacity of 30.000 liters and a propulsion system consisting of two Caterpillar C18 Acert IMO Tier III engines, each producing 533 kW: a configuration that guarantees a range of over 3.500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots.

The interiors, designed by Giorgio M. Cassetta, were designed to meet the owners' daily habits and lifestyle, offering solutions that transcend standard options. The layout accommodates nine guests in four suites, including the master stateroom and a guest cabin with a pullman bed. A crew of five is on board.

The interior layout, designed to serve as a logistical base for a couple intent on exploring the world, features a spacious galley designed for direct use by the owners, custom furnishings featuring organic shapes, and a generous use of natural materials and warm textures. The owners limited the number of guests so that everyone could enjoy generous spaces and share the travel experience in a simple, elegant, and detailed setting.

The owners themselves, concludes the shipyard's statement, expressed great satisfaction with their collaboration with the Cantiere delle Marche team, describing the experience as a synergistic journey and a partnership that has allowed them to create: "a yacht of extraordinary beauty that perfectly reflects our vision, while offering the quality and capabilities we dreamed of."
