The first Itama 70 was launched at the Ferretti Group's new production facility in Ravenna, attended by the owner and his family. The yacht has an overall length of 21,23 meters and a beam of 5,30 meters. Its exterior design is by Vallicelli Design and interiors by IdeaeItalia, resulting from the collaboration between the Ferretti Group's Product Strategy Committee and the Group's Engineering Department. The model launched is equipped with optional propulsion, featuring twin 1.550 mhp Man V12 engines, which allow it to reach a top speed of 40 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots (preliminary data). It is also equipped with a Seakeeper NG14 gyroscopic stabilizer.
The Itama 70 maintains the distinctive features that have made the brand iconic while introducing stylistic and design solutions designed for a more immersive cruising experience. Among the most recognizable features are the bow sundeck integrated into the deck and the side windows that span the hull. At the stern, the movable platform can accommodate and launch a 3,25-meter tender, while the sundeck is connected to the dining area via an integrated backrest that creates continuity between the different living areas. The U-shaped dining area is completed by a teak-topped table positioned opposite the wet bar, which can be transformed into a chaise longue with the addition of a cushion. The area is shaded by an electric bimini top with integrated lighting. The helm station is located on the port side and features a seat that can accommodate two people, the console integrates two 16” touch chartplotters. The lower deck offers a three-cabin layout with the master aft, all equipped with private bathroom as well as a corner galley and dinette.
