The 2026 Venice Boat Show is preparing to open its doors. From May 27 to 31, the Venetian Arsenal will once again host an event that, year after year, has consolidated its position as a key event for shipyards, designers, suppliers, and industry professionals. The seventh edition, promoted by the City of Venice and organized by Vela Spa in collaboration with the Italian Navy, will bring approximately 300 vessels and 270 exhibitors from Italy and abroad to the lagoon. The event's layout will continue to leverage the Arsenal's unique features, with over 55 square meters of water and more than a kilometer of docks, allowing for sea trials and a strong integration between static display and navigation.

Among the most prominent themes of the 2026 edition is the growth of sustainability-related technologies. The Show will devote ample space to electric, hybrid, and hydrogen propulsion, involving not only shipyards but also universities and research centers working on the development of new solutions for maritime mobility. The goal is to foster technical discussion on energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and new materials. Particular attention will be paid to the main dock, the "Riviera," which will host large yachts and the latest developments from international shipyards. Among these, the Ferretti Group will present seven boats, including the world premiere of the Ferretti 670 and the Pershing 6X, with its taut, agile lines and cutting-edge technology; Next Group will present the AB 80, a fast flybridge yacht with hydrojet propulsion, and the electric-powered sailing catamaran Sunreef 70 by Sunreef Yachts, a 70-foot multihull.

Numarine, arriving from Turkey for the first time at the Show, presents the 30XP, the first diesel-electric model in the successful Explorer XP range. Beneteau's Gran Turismo 50 makes its world debut in the water, choosing Venice as the venue for the launch of its new vessel. Sustainability finds its full expression in the Greenline 42 by Greenline Yachts, making its Venice debut, ushering in a new era of hybrid navigation. The show also features models that interpret boating as a lifestyle: the design of the Azimut Magellano 66 with its Dual Mode hull, which guarantees stability and comfort; the craftsmanship of Invictus Yacht with the TT460; and the world premiere of Biondi Yacht's Calita, an 11-meter catamaran that marks a double debut: for the vessel itself and for the shipyard's first appearance at the Show. A waterfront showcase showcases diverse styles, from sportier boats to those designed for cruising, offering a glimpse into the diversity of the sector. Alongside its renowned nautical heritage, Venice will continue to promote its local shipbuilding tradition, with initiatives dedicated to master shipwrights, professional schools, and workshops specializing in wooden construction. This component complements the event's technical program, featuring conferences, meetings, and presentations dedicated to the evolution of contemporary boating.
