The Mangusta 108 King II changes hands
Delivered in 2004 by Overmarine, the sports superyacht can reach a top speed of 37 knots
The sporty maxi-open Mangusta 108 King II by Overmarine was sold following negotiations between brokerage firms World Yacht Group, which introduced the buyer, and Ocean Independence (represented by Daria Tomassetti) representing the selling party.
Delivered to her first owner in 2004 and previously known simply as King, the yacht's lines have become renowned for its sleek and aggressive exterior profile, designed by Stefano Righini Design, while the naval architecture and waterlines were developed by Andrea Bacigalupo. Built entirely of fiberglass, the yacht has a maximum beam of 7,01 meters and a draft of just 1,22 meters, allowing her to easily navigate even in shallow waters, which are off-limits to many vessels in her segment.
With an internal volume of 181 gross tons, it has been designed to accommodate up to nine guests in four comfortable cabins as well as a crew of up to five members in dedicated accommodation.
King II, powered by two powerful MTU engines, boasts a cruising speed of 32 knots and a top speed of 37 knots. At the time of the deal, this Mangusta 108 was being offered for €1,7 million.
