Amico Marine is born: a single brand for shipyards and yacht services.
Synergy with the port and structural investments in the heart of Genoa: the historic Ligurian company evolves into a single identity to consolidate its leadership in international refitting.

The Amico & Co Group has officially launched Amico Marine, a brand created to unite the Group's shipyards and companies specializing in refitting, maintenance, and superyacht services under a single, coordinated identity. The move, presented today, April 29, in Genoa, goes beyond a simple rebranding. It represents the culmination of over thirty years of international growth and, at the same time, the legacy of a family tradition that has seen the Amico family play a leading role in the maritime sector since the 18th century and drive the development of the professional nautical sector in the port of Genoa and Liguria.
"With the launch of Amico Marine, we aim to clearly and consistently represent our identity: a network of companies offering comprehensive technical and operational support to owners, crews, and managers throughout every phase of a vessel's life," said Alberto Amico, Founder & Partner of Amico & Co. "Our operating model is based on direct and ongoing relationships with clients, prioritizing collaboration, planning, and process control to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and cost transparency. Amico Marine embodies tradition, technical expertise, and a long-term vision, consolidating our international presence and confirming our commitment to offering excellent solutions with unwavering customer focus."
The Amico Marine system is structured through complementary shipyards, strategically distributed along the Ligurian coast. While Amico & Co in Genoa and Amico Loano on the western coast remain the international benchmark for complex repairs on large and very large vessels, the supply chain is completed by the Cantiere Nautico Gatti, whose infrastructure has recently been renovated to offer high-quality standards for vessels up to 30 meters.
Amico Marine's operational efficiency is supported by integrated logistics and technical assets. The Waterfront Marina, with 26 berths for yachts up to 120 meters, is complemented by Acier-Sarimi's specialized expertise in metalworking and ship repairs. Operational support is completed by Amico Servizi, responsible for overall management and coordination, and Marine Tools, a company dedicated to specialized process digitalization.
According to CEO Bruno Guglielmini, the creation of Amico Marine is the result of a strategic vision that has combined massive infrastructure investments with ongoing institutional synergy, particularly with the Port System Authority. This model has allowed the enhancement of Genoa's state-owned maritime property, generating significant employment benefits. Guglielmini emphasized the importance of revitalizing this collaboration to ensure that the development of professional boating continues in harmony with the other activities of the Genoa port's industrial district.
