The giants of the sea in Sanremo: the 10 highlights of the Myba Charter Show
Eighty superyachts will be on display on the docks of the Ligurian port, showcasing cutting-edge technology and craftsmanship for elite charters.
With 87 superyachts on display, the Myba Charter Show has transformed Sanremo's Portosole Marina into the world capital of luxury charters, welcoming the finest giants of the sea, visited by leading international brokers to select the next season's flagship vessels. Among the many vessels expected, there are a dozen that stand out for their size and prestige.
Among the protagonists of the show shines Fifth Essence, a 55-meter Admiral yacht that celebrates the inextricable bond between sea and land. Her burgundy livery is a chromatic tribute to Merlot wine and the Tuscan hills, a theme that flows harmoniously throughout the interiors, featuring olive-colored silks and vine leaf motifs. Recently meticulously refitted, the yacht exemplifies how Italian craftsmanship can transform a vessel into a tale of the region.
Also from the Admiral shipyard is present Raja², a 55-meter yacht launched in 2025 that embodies the concept of elegant maximalism. Here, a completely open beach club aft is designed to blur the boundary between the guest and the marine element. Equally significant is Baglietto's contribution with Severin's: a project characterized by typical Italian rationality dedicated to the charter market, with a 160-square-meter sundeck—a veritable penthouse on the water enriched by pools and lounge areas—that becomes the stage for refined socializing. Completing the national picture taiba, a 55-meter yacht from the Palumbo shipyard: a yacht that, breaking away from traditional schemes, favors liveliness and family fun through a “child-friendly” design and an architecture that eliminates external walkways, allowing for considerable internal volumes.
Alongside Italian creativity, Sanremo's tourist port, Portosole, hosts international excellence of the highest calibre. At the top of the list we find Gigia, an 85-meter Lürssen colossus with classic American elegance curated by Winch Design. Here, twelve guests can enjoy a spa decorated with artistic mosaics, assisted by a crew of twenty-eight professionals. A different, more robust and adventurous charm is that of Naia, a 73-meter vessel originally built as a research vessel and transformed by the Spanish Freire shipyards into a welcoming refuge dominated by aged oak. Furthermore, the famous Plan B, which continues to take center stage thanks to Alberto Pinto's immaculate lines; the yacht will set sail for the French Riviera immediately after the closing of the Sanremo event.
On the docks you can also admire the spectacular rebirth of a historic Lürssen, Coral Ocean, which, after a €35 million refit, has returned to service as a completely new vessel, featuring a glass-bottomed pool and airy, white interiors. One of the brand new additions for 2026 is Ointment, an Amels 60 with an unmistakable profile thanks to the geometric windows by Espen Øino and the interiors that Harrison Eidsgaard designed to be warm and 'familiar' despite the modern lines. This selection of steel and luxury concludes. Holding My Own by Turquoise Yachts: an example of how technological innovation can reinvigorate a classic hull through a refit that has recently reconfigured the onboard experience, from cutting-edge audiovisual systems to a new aesthetic for the common spaces.
