Lofrans inaugurates its new Cambiago plant on its 60th anniversary.
The relocation of production has allowed for larger spaces and optimised processes for a significant increase in production.

Founded in Monza in 1966 and specializing in anchor winches and mooring management solutions, Lofrans has inaugurated its new facilities in Cambiago, in the province of Milan. This strategic move enhances the company's production capabilities and innovation, coinciding with its sixty-year presence in the yachting industry. The relocation of production from Monza to Cambiago enhances efficiency, technological prowess, and operational excellence, reflecting the company's vision for the future. The new facilities, thanks to larger spaces and a streamlined production process, also significantly increase daily production capacity.
"This is one of the most significant changes in Lofrans' 60-year history," said George Papoutsis, Technical Manager Lofrans & Max Power. "Our new facilities perfectly embody the brand's spirit of renewal and ambition, and are poised to inspire partners and enthusiasts." Since joining the Lalizas Group in 2012, the brand has strengthened its operations and expanded its international presence, remaining true to its tradition of innovation.
“When we acquired the company in 2012, we made a clear commitment: to respect the Lofrans name, its legacy, its personal use, and its historic partners. A commitment not only to preserve the past, but to build upon it,” stated CEO Stavros Lalizas. “Over the years, we have not only honored the company's heritage: we have strengthened it, evolved it, and projected it into the future. I still remember admiring the iconic Lofrans anchor that the Rivolta family kept in the factory courtyard. Today, that same anchor has found its rightful home in the new spaces in Cambiago: a symbol that unites our past with a promising future.”
