Exide Technologies introduces the EV1920S lithium-ion battery

Exide Technologies introduces the EV1920S 12,8V 150Ah lithium-ion battery. It offers high energy density and intuitive features, including integrated Bluetooth connectivity that connects the battery to a dedicated app for monitoring its status, a sleep mode to conserve battery charge, and an internal heating function for reliable performance in all weather conditions. The battery is available in LN5 format and can therefore replace equivalent AGM or gel batteries. The EV1920S is part of Exide's range of Marine and Leisure lithium-ion batteries for Equipment applications, which complements the Dual and Start categories, and plays an important role in powering onboard equipment such as navigation, emergency, safety, and comfort systems. Since these applications often involve partial or deep discharges, the specific design of Equipment batteries, combined with an appropriate charging procedure, ensures reliability and long life. Responding to the growing demand for lightweight, high-performance energy solutions, the battery offers consistent power, a long lifespan, and excellent charge acceptance. Furthermore, its advanced battery management system (BMS) protects it from improper use (overcharge/undercharge, overdischarge/underdischarge, or over/under temperature), providing the user with maximum peace of mind on board.
