Gianguido Girotti is the new CEO of Nautor Swan and Bluegame
Carla Demaria and Giovanni Pomati take on strategic advisory roles as part of the international growth of the two brands

The Sanlorenzo Group has established a new leadership structure that will strategically accelerate the Nautor Swan and Bluegame brands. Beginning in June 2026, Gianguido Girotti will assume the role of CEO for both brands. This move is aimed at consolidating the foundations of the two companies, while ensuring that each brand maintains its operational autonomy and the distinctive style that makes them complementary yet distinct within the Group's vision of excellence.
The arrival of Girotti, currently Deputy CEO of the Beneteau Group, brings international expertise gained over eleven years of experience in the high-performance sailing sector and a cutting-edge vision of motoryacht innovation.
His ability to combine product development with cutting-edge commercial positioning will be crucial to overseeing operational activities and the offering of high-end services. In his new role, Girotti will report directly to Sanlorenzo's Executive Chairman, Massimo Perotti, with the aim of preserving Nautor Swan's deep ties with the global sailing community and strengthening the commitment to technological innovation that defines Bluegame.
The new organizational structure, as Massimo Perotti explains, recognizes the fundamental contributions of the figures who have shaped the recent history of the two brands. Carla Demaria, after a forty-year career at the top of the nautical industry and having led the extraordinary growth of Bluegame, will step down from her operational roles at her own request but will assume the role of Advisor to the President, maintaining her presence on the Sanlorenzo Board of Directors to continue offering the Group her wealth of vision and expertise.
Giovanni Pomati will also continue his commitment to Nautor Swan as Senior Brand Advisor, focusing specifically on the ClubSwan strategy. During his eight-year tenure, Pomati played a crucial role in the successful integration of the brand into the Sanlorenzo family, ensuring stability that resulted in a return to profitability in the first year of consolidation and the success of the new Swan Maxi line. His future work will be dedicated to strengthening the brand's community and global events.
This top management change is part of a continuing management continuity at Sanlorenzo's production core, with Tommaso Vincenzi confirmed as head of the Yacht and Superyacht Business Units. With this new structure, the presidency intends to usher in a phase of value creation that responds to the evolving needs of international shipowners, combining historical authenticity and pioneering vision into a single, solid growth strategy for the future.
"Nautor Swan and Bluegame are two highly sought-after brands, each with a clear identity, a solid reputation for innovation, and a strong connection to their owners. Building on this foundation, they are now entering an exciting phase of product development, which represents a tremendous opportunity to strengthen their positioning, global presence, and the creation of industry-leading innovations, while remaining true to their DNA. I am delighted to be working closely with the two teams to launch the next phase of growth for both brands, driving future value creation," said Gianguido Girotti.
