Cantiere del Pardo has launched the first Grand Soleil Plus 80 Long Cruise
The shipyard's new 26-meter vessel bears the signature of Matteo Polli for naval architecture and Nauta for interior and exterior design. The first unit has a telescopic keel with a draft of between 4,8 and 2,8 meters.

The first Grand Soleil Plus 80 Long Cruise has been launched at Cantiere del Pardo's Plus line shipyard in Fano. The new flagship of the Plus line, and also the largest vessel ever built under the Grand Soleil Yachts brand, stands out for its naval architecture by Matteo Polli, its exterior lines, and the layout by Nauta. The yacht meets the needs of both those who prioritize comfort and ease of handling while cruising, thanks in part to its telescopic keel, and those seeking a more high-performance approach thanks to the Performance version with a fixed keel and various drafts.
The first unit is equipped with a twin rudder and a telescopic keel with a draft ranging from 4,8 to 2,8 meters: a configuration that combines performance and accessibility, facilitating entry even into shallow bays and harbors. Regarding the sail plan, the carbon mast and V-boom allow for various configurations, including a furling gennaker and Code 0, as well as the option of installing a staysail with an optional forestay. All lines are led back to the helm stations, leaving the deck clear and safe, while the dual helm stations ensure full control and visibility at any point in the sail.
"Seeing the GS Plus 80 Long Cruise finally in the water is a great thrill," said Franco Corazza, project manager for the Plus line. "As per Grand Soleil tradition, the entire construction process is carried out in-house, from lamination to launch. This allows us to guarantee extremely high quality standards, thanks to our team's experience and the use of advanced construction technologies. This yacht perfectly embodies our vision: to offer a vessel capable of combining performance, comfort, and reliability, designed for those who want to sail far and experience the sea without compromise."
The interior layout features a master suite forward with a private bathroom and walk-around double bed, three guest cabins, and two crew cabins, each with independent access from the cockpit to ensure maximum privacy for guests.
Marcello Veronesi, CEO of Cantiere del Pardo, said, “The launch of this first unit represents an extremely significant moment for Grand Soleil. With the GS Plus 80 LC, we are introducing the new flagship of the range, an expression of our shipyard's excellent craftsmanship and design expertise. Sharing this milestone with the owner and his family is a source of great pride and represents an important step for the future development of the Plus line.”
