Mastervolt has announced that its MLI Ultra 24/6000 lithium-ion battery has obtained RINA Type Approval, one of the most important standards for professional and recreational marine applications. RINA Type Approval certifies that the MLI Ultra 24/6000 meets high requirements for safety, durability, and operational performance. For shipyards and system integrators, this translates into faster approval processes, less technical documentation, and reduced risks during the design and commissioning phases, especially for class-compliant units. From a technical standpoint, the battery integrates an advanced BMS management system, which actively monitors safety, power distribution, and communication with the rest of the onboard electrical system. The architecture, with safety relays controlled directly by the battery, allows for immediate intervention in the event of anomalies, improving the overall reliability of the energy system.

The Mli Ultra 24/6000 is designed to power high-current devices such as high-power inverters, thrusters, and winches, maintaining stable voltage even under heavy loads. Its construction is designed to withstand vibration, humidity, and salty atmospheres, typical of continuous marine use.

"We are proud that the Mli Ultra 24/6000 battery has received such a prestigious award," said Ton De Winter, President of Power Solutions for Navico Group. "This certification underscores Mastervolt's commitment to ensuring premium quality in every aspect of our product design. It also confirms our role as a trusted partner to leading shipyards and boat builders worldwide, offering advanced power systems and components that ensure reliable performance even in the most demanding marine environments."

Mastervolt strengthens its position in the segment of high-performance energy solutions for yachts, superyachts and professional vessels, offering designers a system that already complies with class standards and is ready for complex applications.
