Spartivento Group is increasingly becoming a 360° nautical platform: from charter to superyachts.
In addition to becoming the sole importer for Italy of Highfield, the iconic brand of tenders for megayachts, premium charter is now available on board Prestige motor catamarans, with premium spaces and finishes.

From a company founded as a sailing charter company 20 years ago to a fully-fledged nautical platform, Spartivento Group has evolved significantly over its two decades of operation, reaching an increasingly broad target audience, including the world of superyachts. Following the announcement of the opening of a charter base in Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily, the group led by Stefano and Iole Pizzi is further strengthening its position in the nautical sector with a new and strategic agreement. The official announcement comes from one of the world's leading nautical events, boot Düsseldorf: starting in January 2026, Spartivento will be the sole importer for Italy of the Highfield brand, a global benchmark in the production of tenders and RIBs, with over 54 boats sold since its founding in 2011 and operations in over 50 countries.
"This strategic decision strengthens our position as an integrated marine group, offering an increasingly comprehensive product range. We are thrilled to embark on this new adventure with Highfield, a brand that shares our values of quality, innovation, and reliability," commented Stefano Pizzi, CEO of Spartivento Group. "This new partnership strengthens Spartivento's position as an integrated marine group, offering an increasingly comprehensive product range. As Honda Marine dealers, we can offer interested customers Highfield inflatables already equipped with Honda engines, effectively becoming a single point of contact for consulting, sales, and assistance. Our commitment will be to ensure effective distribution and high-level service, contributing to the growth of the Highfield brand in Italy."
The new agreement is part of a particularly favorable market environment. According to recent industry analyses, the global inflatable boat sector reached a value of approximately $1,05 billion in 2025 and is estimated to grow to $1,45 billion by 2030, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6,71% over the period 2025–2030. Demand is being driven by the recovery of coastal tourism, investments in the professional and defense sectors, as well as ongoing innovation in materials and construction technologies. In this scenario, Europe maintains a leading position, thanks in part to harmonized safety regulations and a highly structured nautical system. Italy, with its marinas and a constantly growing charter ecosystem, represents one of the most dynamic markets. Highfield responded to this demand with significant production investments and the opening of new facilities, strengthening its industrial capacity and demonstrating strong confidence in the small and medium-sized family and leisure boat segment. These boats have also become iconic in the world of luxury tenders found in the garages of superyachts, perfect for spending a day at anchor, far from the mother ship.
"Our offering," Stefano Pizzi explained to SUPER YACHT 24, "was missing a segment like Highfield's RIBs and a premium offering, similar to superyachts, like Prestige, through which we will offer charter experiences aboard their motor catamarans. So we decided to implement Spartivento's goals, turning it into a true nautical platform, entering the market with a top-tier product. After seven months of analysis, Highfield accepted our request to become the sole importer for Italy, thus organizing the entire sales network."
Thanks to their lightweight marine aluminum construction, Highfield boats stand out for their strength, durability, and safety, making them ideal for both recreational and professional use. Each model is designed to ensure stability, maneuverability, and comfort, meeting the needs of owners and marine operators seeking versatile, reliable, and ready-to-sail solutions. "Eighty percent of the Highfield models, from 5 to 9 meters, are used as tenders for megayachts. They are lightweight tenders, without large T-tops, making them easy to launch and haul using onboard davits and stow in garages. Furthermore, the use of aluminum allows for a 45 percent weight saving compared to fiberglass, which is crucial for onboard weight management and for beaching without problems."
The historic charter company now offers its customers experiences also on board Prestige motor catamarans, boats that due to their space, volume and finishing are considered superyachts, as also explained Michelangelo Casadei in this interviewThis is the case of the new M7, which SUPER YACHT 24 has tested at sea, but also the M8, ready to debut in the Evo version, and the M48, recently added to the Spartivento fleet. “It's a solution,” adds Stefano Pizzi, “that respects the space available on sailing catamarans, in fact, it offers more. The catamaran is ideal for nautical tourism and is the best solution to make it even more attractive. It allows our customers to take a quick vacation, combined with the stability that no monohull can offer. Speed was missing. Now we have it. I'm convinced that the future lies with power catamarans. We've sold many of them to owners—individuals—who then began chartering. New owners are increasingly demanding more; to enjoy day and night, and as many places as possible.”
