Columbus Yachts: 38-meter Principessa Capricciosa launched in Savona
The unit launched in Savona represents the most compact model of the shipyard's Atlantique range

Principessa Capricciosa, the fourth vessel in Columbus Yachts' Atlantique line, was launched in Savona, following the two 43-meter models Frette and Night Fury and the Atlantique 47 Acqua Chiara. At 38 meters, the vessel is the most compact model in the range.
The naval engineering was developed by the shipyard's technical offices, while the Hot Lab studio oversaw the exterior lines and interior design. Built entirely of aluminum (hull and superstructure), the yacht was designed to fall within the 299 gross tonnage threshold: a technical configuration that optimizes range and performance while reducing operating costs and minimum crew requirements.
The design focuses on the integration of interior and exterior spaces through a silhouette that recalls the proportions of sailing yachts. According to the shipyard, the project combines stylistic and functional elements inspired by the sportiness of Italian grand touring cars, maintaining clean and elegant lines.
A distinctive feature of the vessel is the stern section, located at a height of only 50 cm above the waterline.
The yacht can accommodate up to 12 passengers. The master suite, located forward on the main deck, features a double bathroom with a central shower, a walk-in closet, and an outdoor terrace. Below deck are the remaining four double cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms, in addition to the four cabins for the six crew members and the captain.
The technical spaces include a garage integrated into the aft section, accessed from the starboard bulwark, capable of housing a 5-meter tender and a jet ski. The client introduction, concludes the Columbus Yachts press release, was handled by Assia and Salvatore Mele of Mele Yacht.
