The first G24 has been delivered by the Giangrasso Group shipyard.

Construction of the 33-meter Open is expected to begin by the end of October. The shipyard is expanding with a new production facility in Massa.

Last February 17th, the first unit of the G24 series was officially delivered to its European owner, who was present for the occasion with his family.

Built entirely of aluminum, with an exterior designed directly by the shipyard and interiors by Michela Reverberi, the G24 has already achieved remarkable results during sea trials. "Initial forecasts indicated a top speed of 27 knots, but the yacht exceeded 30,8 knots, maintaining optimal trim. This result was achieved thanks to the propulsion system, consisting of two 1050 HP Man engines with ZF gearboxes, strictly adhering to the weight parameters during construction," Bartolomeo Giangrasso explained to SUPER YACHT 24.

Designed to accommodate six passengers in three cabins (plus two crew members), the G24 was conceived for versatility: born for pleasure, it is also suitable for charter. The first opportunity to visit it will be at the end of April at the Palma de Mallorca Boat Show, but the shipyard is already in talks with the owner to exhibit the yacht at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival.

Giangrasso Group also recently announced the purchase of a second warehouse in Massa, joining its historic Viareggio facility. The new facility can accommodate two vessels up to 50 meters indoors, with additional space on the outdoor yard for two more vessels of the same size.

Meanwhile, at the Viareggio facility, Giangrasso reports, work is underway on the second G24, destined for an Austrian client, and production has begun on the first of three 13,40-meter catamarans sold to a foreign charter company, with the hull nearly complete. Furthermore, negotiations are now in the final stages of finalizing the first 33-meter Open, currently under design and scheduled to begin construction at the end of October.
