Astondoa 577 Coupé, the new sports yacht with a hull optimised for speed and efficiency

BOOT 2026 – 17 – 25 Januar in Düsseldorf

Düsseldorf (Germany) – With its world premiere at Boot Düsseldorf, Astondoa expands its Coupé range with the new 577 Coupé, a model that represents the latest evolution of the Spanish shipyard's sporty philosophy. This isn't just a new vessel, but a key step in the brand's strategy. The Coupé line replaced the previous Open range, emphasizing a more modern, assertive, and performance-oriented style without sacrificing comfort.

With over a hundred years of history, Astondoa continues to combine traditional craftsmanship with technological innovation. The 577 Coupé fits into this journey as the central link in the family, alongside models such as the 377 and 677 Coupé, and presents itself as a balanced synthesis of sportiness, livability, and build quality. At first glance, the profile conveys dynamism. The inverted bow, clean, taut surfaces, and stepped stern give the yacht a powerful presence on the water. The sculpted silhouette is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also contributes to overall performance, thanks to a V-shaped hull designed to ensure smoothness, stability, and high efficiency at various speeds.

With an overall length of 15,90 meters and a beam of 4,61 meters, the 577 Coupé offers generous proportions for its category, combined with a shallow draft of just 1,35 meters, allowing for easy navigation and access even in shallower waters. This feature significantly expands the range of uses, especially in the Mediterranean. In terms of propulsion, Astondoa offers two high-performance configurations. On the one hand, the Volvo Penta IPS 800 solution ensures precise maneuverability and fuel efficiency. On the other, the configuration with three Mercury Verado V12 engines, each producing 600 hp, for a total of 1.800 hp, is designed for those seeking an even sportier and more responsive drive.

The exterior spaces are designed to be enjoyed both underway and at anchor. The aft deck features a transformable beach club, transforming into a true living area with a direct connection to the sea. The integrated garage can accommodate a tender and several water toys, maintaining the hull's clean lines. The integrated awning system allows for adjustable shade throughout the day, increasing onboard comfort during extended stops. Below deck, the 577 Coupé reflects Astondoa's typical standards, with finishes superior to the category average. Selected woods, fine leathers, and premium materials create refined yet functional spaces. The layout features two cabins, designed to offer space, privacy, and ample storage capacity, making the vessel suitable for multi-day cruises. True to the Spanish shipyard's tradition, ample space is reserved for customization. Each unit can be configured to the owner's taste, both in terms of interior furnishings and deck solutions, confirming the tailored approach that has characterized Astondoa's production for over a century.

“The 577 Coupé perfectly represents,” said Ione Astondoa, the group's COO, during the presentation, “our vision of modern yachting. It combines performance, design, and liveability in a yacht deeply rooted in Astondoa's heritage yet clearly projected towards the future. This model embodies the balance we constantly strive for at Astondoa: sporty character without compromising comfort, and innovation without losing our identity.”

With the 577 Coupé, Astondoa strengthens its presence in the medium-sized sports yacht segment, which also aims to be a premium, fun and comfortable chaseboat for escapes at anchor from the mother ship, offering an advanced technical platform, a recognizable design and attention to detail typical of higher-class boats.
