Custom Line Lady Soul to be auctioned in Türkiye
Confiscated by the state fund TMSF as part of the money laundering investigation against the Turkish fintech entrepreneur. The starting price is set at €2,3 million.

The Turkish Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF), the government agency responsible for managing assets seized by the state, has initiated the auction process for the superyacht Lady Soul. As seanews.com.tr reports, the vessel, a model from Custom Line's Navetta 30 series, was seized as part of a complex financial investigation targeting the management of Papara, one of Turkey's leading fintech platforms for electronic payments.
The superyacht is owned by Ahmet Faruk Karslı, founder of Papara, who is currently under investigation for alleged money laundering from illegal gambling, estimated to be worth 12 billion Turkish lira.
Following the investigation, the TMSF—the body that, in addition to guaranteeing bank deposits in Turkey, has the power to seize and liquidate the assets of companies or individuals implicated in financial crimes to recover debts from the treasury—stepped in as a trustee.
The starting price for the Lady Soul is 117 million Turkish lira. At the current exchange rate, this figure corresponds to approximately €2.304.000. The auction closed with the opening of bids yesterday, January 20, in Istanbul; a guarantee equal to 5% of the value, approximately 5,8 million TL, was required.
Built in 2006 at the Ferretti Group shipyards and undergone a major refit in 2017, the Lady Soul, previously named ex Ziacanaia, belongs to Custom Line's semi-displacement Navetta 30 line.
The vessel, with an overall length of 28,43 meters and a beam of 7,31 meters, features naval architecture by CRN and a timeless exterior design by Zuccon International Project. The 180 GT interiors, designed by Michela Reverberi, are characterized by fine woods and classic Italian craftsmanship in the carpentry, both in the four cabins that can accommodate 10 guests and throughout the vessel.
From an engineering perspective, two Man engines push the yacht to a top speed of 14,5 knots. Her fuel economy range is noteworthy: at cruising speed, the Lady Soul can cover 2.050 nautical miles, allowing for long-range voyages without frequent technical stops.
