The Sirena 118 is moving towards launch in 2026 with new technical advancements.
The first composite superyacht from Sirena Yachts' new large-scale line is under construction in Yalova: a fast-displacement hull by Germán Frers and a flexible layout under 300 GT for long-range cruising.

Sirena Yachts has released a new update on the progress of the Sirena 118, a 36-meter composite superyacht that inaugurates the Turkish shipyard's largest GRP line. The first hull is currently under construction at the Yalova shipyard, and the project is progressing according to plan, with a launch and debut scheduled for 2026. The Sirena 118 was developed by the shipyard's in-house design team, with naval architecture by Germán Frers. The interiors are by Cor D. Rover, who conceived a customizable environment based on the owner's requests, characterized by the use of quality materials and extensive use of natural light. Construction has reached several significant milestones, particularly in terms of system development and structural finishes. Production of the lower deck furnishings has been completed, and assembly is expected in the next phases. In parallel, work continues on insulation, plumbing, piping, panel placement, wiring, and installation of the main technical equipment, a key step for the unit's future operational reliability.
Sliding doors have already been installed in the exterior areas, while production of the teak deck continues and preparatory work for the final paint job is progressing. These steps are part of a roadmap that includes, in the subsequent phases, engine installation, completion of the paint cycles, installation of the interior paneling, launching, sea trials, and final delivery. With a displacement of less than 300 GT, the Sirena 118 was designed to offer a balance between generous volumes and simplified handling. The layout extends across three decks and is designed for maximum flexibility. The owner's suite is located on the main deck, a solution that allows for a high level of privacy and direct access to the main living areas. Among the optional configurations, a two-level "loft" stands out, conceived as a private area overlooking the water and connected by a dedicated spiral staircase. Guest accommodation can be up to six cabins, including a large VIP cabin, a choice that makes the vessel suitable for extended cruises with a large number of guests, maintaining standards of comfort and separation of spaces.
In terms of performance, the design is based on a fast-displacement hull optimized for efficiency, developed to ensure a good combination of range, stability, and fuel consumption. The standard propulsion system features twin MAN V12 engines, with a declared top speed of 16 knots. A more powerful configuration is also available, allowing for a top speed of 21 knots, offering greater operational flexibility depending on the vessel's mission profiles. "As the first Sirena 118 takes shape," said Sirena Yachts CEO Çağin Genc, "we are proud to see the design vision materialize in every area of the build. The quality of our team's work, along with that of our long-time partners Cor D. Rover and Germán Frers, is bringing this new flagship to life in a way that fully reflects the spirit of Sirena." The Sirena 118 marks a strategic step for the Turkish shipyard, which with this model enters the segment of large composite superyachts, focusing on design solutions geared towards long-range navigation, efficient management of onboard systems, and configurability designed to meet different usage profiles. The debut, scheduled for 2026, will therefore represent not only the presentation of a new model, but also an important testing ground for the future evolution of the brand's superyacht range.
