Baglietto Dom155, the new aluminum flagship that stays under 500 GT
Maximized volumes and an aluminum hull for the flagship of the Dom series. Among the new features: a staircase that becomes a technical access and the modular beach club.

Following the commercial success of the Dom133 (12 units sold) and the Dom115, Baglietto presents the top of the range with the Dom155: a new project that maintains an important technical parameter for operational management: the internal volume which remains below the 500 GT threshold.
Baglietto confirms its choice of aluminum as the construction material for the Dom155, meeting two technical requirements: ensuring high levels of structural customization and maintaining a shallow draft. This latter factor makes the vessel particularly attractive for the American market and for sailing in shallow waters (such as the Bahamas): an increasingly important geographic target for the La Spezia-based shipyard.
In terms of propulsion, the yacht will be equipped with a pair of Caterpillar C32 engines, a configuration that allows it to reach a maximum speed of 16 knots in displacement trim.
The layout introduces new solutions for flow management and versatility of use. The focal point of the onboard engineering is the aft area: two side stairways lead to the cockpit, but the port one is equipped with a mechanism that allows it to be lowered, providing direct technical access to the beach club below. The latter is designed as a modular area: it can serve as a wellness area (with spa and gym) using a folding side door to port for access from the tender, or it can be configured as an additional garage to house a large tender. The aft movement is completed by a transformer system on the beach area, functional both for swimming and as a walkway to the dock.
The project, once again designed by Stefano Vafiadis, expands the volumes of the “domus” series by taking up automotive-inspired lines and longitudinal cuts.
The interior layout includes: the main deck features a salon with fully opening doors for seamless interior-exterior connection, a dining area, and a full-beam owner's suite (with an office, walk-in closet, and his and hers bathrooms); the lower deck features four guest cabins and a crew area forward (four cabins for eight crew members, a crew mess, and a laundry room); the upper deck features a salon that opens on three sides to maximize natural ventilation, a wheelhouse, and a technical area forward dedicated to stowing the main tender and jet ski. There is an option for a fifth guest cabin on this deck. Finally, the sun deck boasts a generous 130 square meters of space with an infinity pool and built-in bar.
"The Dom155 was born from listening to the market, which has expressed interest in larger sizes than the 35- and 41-meter models," commented Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto's Chief Commercial Officer. "This project draws on the experiences shared with our owners, creating a yacht with high levels of customization and comfort that will successfully fit into the sub-500 GT segment."
Delivery of the first Dom155 is scheduled for early 2029.
