Baglietto: Fourth Dom115 sold in record time

The Gabbiano brand signs its seventh contract for 2025. The market supports the shipyard's strategy: steel and customization remain the winning cards.

A new sales contract for Baglietto, just a week after the last announcement. This deal, announced by the La Spezia-based shipyard—for the fourth Dom115 unit—brings seven orders signed since the beginning of the year, confirming what the company itself calls "the exceptional dynamism of the Dom line, particularly the Dom115." The series has established itself as a benchmark for an international clientele seeking generous volumes combined with a fresh, contemporary design.

The success of the Dom115, the range's entry-level model, the shipyard explains in a statement, is the result of a specific industrial strategy outlined by Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto's chief commercial officer. The company has decided to buck the trend: while the 35-meter segment has historically been dominated by mass production and the use of fiberglass, Baglietto has chosen to offer steel and aluminum hulls, thus ensuring the build quality and customization options typical of larger megayachts. "We are thrilled with our customers' response," stated Ermetto, emphasizing how the rapid development of this new signature demonstrates the range's enduring appeal and the company's vision.

This fourth hull will also bear the signature of Stefano Vafiadis, responsible for both the exterior lines and the interior design, which will be entirely custom-built to reflect the owner's wishes. The Dom115 reinterprets, in a 35-meter version, the concepts that have made her older sister, the Dom133, a bestseller—twelve units already sold internationally—"ensuring a seamless relationship between interior and exterior and exceptional livability."

Among the design's strengths is its visual continuity: thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows and pocket doors, the main salon merges seamlessly with the exterior deck, offering a 270-degree panoramic view. Equally dramatic is the aft beach area, designed as a terrace overlooking the sea, spanning three levels and dominated by an infinity pool that visually blurs the distance from the horizon. Finally, the decision to place the tender in a side garage frees up the rear deck of technical clutter, freeing up space for guests to relax and enhancing the yacht's harmonious lines.
