Sirena 42M: class-leading technology and space for the Turkish shipyard's new flagship
Efficient cruising, generous volumes and flexible architecture: the new 42-metre vessel designed by Sirena Marine and Van Oossanen will enter the water in 2026.

The new Sirena 42M marks a significant step in the Turkish shipyard's growth. It is the largest vessel ever built by Sirena Marine and is currently in an advanced stage of construction: the hull and superstructure are already being painted, while the installation of the main onboard systems is underway. Interior design is also progressing in parallel, with the goal of completing construction and starting sea trials by mid-2026. The project is a collaboration between Van Oossanen, Luca Vallebona, and Hot Lab. The hull is a Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), a solution that offers efficiency and stability at all speeds. It is designed to reduce consumption and ensure comfort even in rough seas, maintaining consistent hydrodynamic efficiency. The result is a 433 GT yacht, among the highest in the 40-45 meter category, capable of combining generous space and optimized performance.
The propulsion system complies with Tier III requirements, and the technical layout is designed for a hybrid-ready configuration. This means the system can easily be upgraded in the future with electric or low-emission propulsion solutions. Great attention has also been paid to soundproofing and vibration reduction: the materials and weight distribution are designed to ensure superior comfort during navigation. The exterior design, by Luca Vallebona, emphasizes clean lines and balanced proportions. The interior spaces, designed by Hot Lab (part of the Viken Group), are conceived as an "architectural journey," where light, materials, and the layout of the areas create a constant dialogue between the interior and the marine environment. "We wanted the perception of the spaces," the designers explain, "to change gradually, naturally, like a journey of discovery."
The layout is entirely customizable. The owner can choose whether to place the master suite on the main deck or the upper deck, a flexibility that allows for a variety of private and social areas. The social areas are spacious and visually connected to the exterior. The beach club, one of the project's highlights, opens onto the sea with retractable bulkheads that expand the living space at water level.
The combination of the FDHF hull and the large interior volume offers a rare balance between comfort and performance. The yacht maintains a long-range cruising setup, but with improved fuel efficiency and range compared to traditional solutions. The shipyard stated that "the interior volume of the 42M is one of the highest in the 40-45 meter range," a result that reflects the project's engineering approach. The combination of the Van Oossanen hull, Vallebona architecture, and Hot Lab interiors creates a yacht designed for experienced owners. Launch is scheduled for 2026.
