Azimut Yachts announces the appointment of Carlo Alberto Sisto as Chief Executive Officer of Azimut do Brasil, its strategic subsidiary for local production and strategic development in the Brazilian market. Sisto's appointment marks the start of a new phase of development for the subsidiary, which aims to consolidate the Group's industrial and commercial leadership in one of the world's most dynamic markets.

The decision is part of Azimut's long-term vision to strengthen its international presence, capitalizing on its manufacturing excellence and capacity for innovation. The Itajaí shipyard confirms its position as a strategic industrial hub for the entire region, thanks to its consolidated leadership position, particularly in the segment of large, locally produced vessels.

Carlo Alberto Sisto takes over as head of Azimut do Brasil, bringing with him a solid international profile and over 25 years of experience gained in senior roles at CNH Industrial, a global leader in the capital goods sector.

His career is characterized by strategic, financial, and operational expertise, developed in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and particularly in Latin America and Brazil. In these markets, he held key positions, including Chairman of Banco CNH Capital, Chief Financial Officer of CNH Industrial Brazil, and subsequently, in the United States, President of CNH Capital North America. More recently, he held senior roles as Executive Chairman of CNH Industrial (EMEA Region) and Executive Director of the Cogne Acciai Speciali Group, broadening his experience in the industrial sector.

Under Sisto's leadership, Azimut do Brasil will accelerate the implementation of the approved development and investment plan, aimed at strengthening production capacity, supporting brand expansion, and bringing innovation to the market through the progressive renewal of the range. The new CEO will define the strategic and industrial direction in close collaboration with Roy Capasso, Commercial Director, who will report directly to him.

The Brazilian subsidiary, founded in 2010 and employing over 600 people, continues to drive growth for the Group, having produced more than 40 boats last season (including models from the Azimut Fly and Grande series, destined for both the domestic and export markets). "With the new leadership, the company will continue to invest in industrial development, quality, and training, strengthening Azimut's role as a global leader in high-end yachting," concludes the Group's statement.
