Bluegame BG54 carries the Smartgyro SG20 stabilizer and reduces roll by 89%
The 54-foot cruiser of the 2.0 generation stands out for its comfort, silence with significantly improved stability

The collaboration between Bluegame and Smartgyro takes a new step with the installation of the SG20 gyro stabilizer aboard the BG54, a 54-foot cruiser from the Sanlorenzo Group shipyard's 2.0 generation, which debuted at the Cannes Yachting Festival and will be featured again at the Genoa Boat Show. The system's integration represents a significant milestone in the partnership between the two brands, further raising the bar in comfort and performance.
During sea trials, the SG20 stabilizer demonstrated real effectiveness, reducing roll by up to 89%. The design focused not only on stabilization but also on reducing vibration and noise, ensuring noticeably quieter operation inside the vessel. "Collaborating with a shipyard like Bluegame," commented Fabrizio Stifani, Smartgyro's Head of Research & Development, "means pushing performance even further. With an 89% reduction in roll and extremely quiet operation, the SG20 perfectly aligns with Bluegame's vision for the nautical experience of the future."
The BG54 combines Volvo IPS propulsion, a full-beam master cabin, a convertible forward dinette, and a multifunctional stern. Its modular architecture makes it ideal for the Smartgyro stabilizer.
“The results achieved demonstrate that it is possible to navigate smoothly and silently without compromising on performance,” added Carlo Gazerro, Smartgyro’s Southern Europe Sales Manager.
