Itama 54: the first unit launches in Ravenna
The first unit of the open yacht that expands the Itama range has been launched in the new shipyard in Marina di Ravenna, revolutionising the living areas to maximise relaxation and comfort on board.

The first Itama 54 was launched at the Ferretti Group's new production site in Ravenna. With this new model, the Itama range returns to the 50- to 59-foot open cruiser runabout segment, offering a new dimension of freedom on board and at sea.
Measuring 16,44 meters in length and with a beam of 4,73 meters, it is the result of a collaboration between the Ferretti Group's Product Strategy Committee, chaired by engineer Piero Ferrari, and the Group's Engineering Department. The interior and exterior design is by Tommaso De Luca.
The Itama 54 features a variety of aesthetic and functional innovations, blending with the brand's trademark Italian style and elegance. The traditional Itama lines are enhanced with new elements, such as the large bow sundeck, recessed into the deck to create a seamless exterior profile, and the outward-sloping transom design, which streamlines the boat and lends it a remarkable sense of dynamism.
Another aesthetic innovation: the side windows, which for the first time run along the hull, make the profile even more streamlined and attractive. Furthermore, unlike previous models, access to the bow area is positioned to starboard of the windshield: an innovative solution that makes boarding easier and allows the companionway to be kept open, while simultaneously ensuring both passage to the bow and belowdecks.
The deck layout also features several innovations designed to ensure maximum onboard comfort. A brand new feature on the Itama 54 is the configuration of the outdoor living area, featuring a double cockpit for the first time, creating two areas entirely dedicated to relaxation: the classic aft cockpit features a table that can be moved, while the second cockpit, adjacent to the windshield, offers shelter from the wind and water during navigation. Serving both cockpits, a large wet bar is located on the port side. The helm station, featuring a comfortable seat and an innovative floating dashboard, is also located on this side.
The lower deck features two cabins, the owner's cabin in the bow and the guest cabin amidships, two bathrooms, a galley and a dinette.
Itama 54 is powered by Man's new I6 line: in the standard version it is equipped with a pair of Man i6-730 hp engines for a top speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots and in the optional version with a pair of Man i6-850 hp engines for a top speed of 37 knots and a cruising speed of 33 knots (estimated performance).
