Marco Cornacchia is the new CEO of Cala del Forte.
The management of the Ventimiglia marina managed by Monaco Ports has changed with the arrival of the manager from Rimini who has already been director of the facility since 2018.

Effective August 1st, Marco Cornacchia has been the new CEO of Cala del Forte, the Ventimiglia marina owned by Monaco Ports, succeeding Giovanni Battista Borea d'Olmo who, at 75, concludes a career that began in 1970. The handover is marked by strategic and operational continuity: Marco Cornacchia, who has led the port since 2018, has worked closely with Borea d'Olmo since the project's inception, contributing to its development and consolidation. Giovanni Battista Borea d'Olmo played a key role in the creation of Cala del Forte, overseeing every phase of the project, from its initial vision to its inauguration in 2021, and following its rapid development and international market success. Cornacchia, originally from Rimini, has been active in the sailing world since 1980, with a sporting and professional career crowned by his victory in the Louis Vuitton Cup in 1992 aboard Il Moro di Venezia. Over the last twenty years Marco has specialized in superyacht and marina management.
