Giovanni Costaguta reappointed as president of Genova For Yachting
The Executive Committee of the association, which represents approximately 60 entities in the professional nautical sector in Genoa, has also been renewed for the three-year period 2025-2028.

Genova For Yachting has reappointed Giovanni Costaguta, of Yachtline Arredomare 1618, as president for the three-year term 2025-2028. The assembly of the association, which represents approximately 60 professional nautical entities in Genoa, also approved the renewal of the Executive Committee and the election of spokespersons for the five membership categories.
The new Executive Committee, the association informs, represents the diverse spirit of the industry and includes, for the shipyards category: Giovanni Costaguta (Yachtline Arredomare 1618), Alberto Amico (Amico & Co), Ennio Luglio (Cantieri Navali Genovesi), and Nicolò De Angelis (Genoa Sea Service). The marine sector will be represented by Fabio Pesto (Marina Molo Vecchio) and Alberto Amico, also for Waterfront Marina by Amico & Co.
In the services sector, Fabio Pesto (Pesto Sea Group), Attilio Bruno (Agenzia Nautico Csn), and Fulvia Linari (Sea Metria) have joined the Executive Committee. For specialized companies, Gabriele Randi (Tecnomarine), Luca Serventi (Gruppo Boero), and Stefano Belgrano (Ranieri Tonissi) have been appointed. For professionals, Cinzia Farinetti (Studio Commercialista Farinetti) and Cecilia Vernetti (Studio Legale Camera Vernetti) have been appointed.
At the meeting, in addition to confirming Giovanni Costaguta as president, the following spokespersons were also elected: Alberto Amico and Ennio Luglio for shipbuilding (Levante and Ponente areas, respectively); Fabio Pesto for marine and services; Attilio Bruno for services, with responsibility for training; Cinzia Farinetti for professionals; and Gabriele Randi for specialized companies.
The program report confirmed the association's commitment to several thematic working groups: "Institutional Relations and Management of Local Issues," for ongoing dialogue with organizations and institutions to protect the sector's interests; "Genoa 2030," a project focused on port and urban infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on sustainability; "Professions," with a group dedicated to training and employment, in collaboration with schools, universities, and the Genoa Blue District's Blue Skills Village; "Genoa in the World," an initiative aimed at promoting the city's presence at major international yachting events and fairs, including the Myba Charter Show, the Genoa Boat Show, and the Cannes Yachting Festival; and finally, "Environment," which will involve efforts to raise awareness among member companies about sustainability issues and develop a shared environmental report.
Genova For Yachting represents a cluster of 58 Genoese businesses operating in the services, marinas, shipyards, technology, and professional sectors. Reflecting Italian know-how and Genoa's historic maritime vocation, these companies compete successfully in a highly selective international market. Founded in 2017, the association, through a 2023 THEA study, estimated a total turnover of €630 million across the entire region, supporting the employment of 3150 people. The Genova For Yachting businesses collectively occupy 2% of the Port of Genoa's total surface area, equal to 360.000 square meters.
