In Civitavecchia, Marine Goddess has been granted a new concession to remove and complete the P430 hull.
Only a portion of 4.800 m2 will be in co-use with Tankoa Yachts which will however be able to continue its pleasure boat construction activity at the Lazio port.

In the Port of Civitavecchia, the local Management Committee, chaired by Special Commissioner Pino Musolino, approved, among other resolutions, the granting of a maritime state concession, pursuant to Article 36 of the Navigation Code, to Marine Goddess Srl for the 18-month occupation of a total of 24.816 square meters within the "former Privilege" shipyard for the removal of the company's materials, including the P430 hull.
"This is a concession," explains Commissioner Musolino, "intended to remove the wreck of the P430. Marine Goddess, which is up to date with its state fees, has declared it has found a potential buyer and has submitted a business plan for completing the ship's work, including removing it and launching it for final work. Beyond any legitimate concerns, given the history of this matter, it is in the public interest to pursue this final attempt to free the area without cost to the State."
The Lazio Port Authority also announced that they have taken some specific precautions: "We have taken precautions, however, by monitoring activities every six months and by providing a deposit by Marine Goddess equal to the estimated and assessed costs of removing the vessel. Should the concessionaire fail to proceed as planned, the Port Authority will enforce the guarantee to finance the cost of removing the hull. This means that, in any case, that area will be fully available again by early 2027."
The Port Authority also clarified that this one-and-a-half-year concession covering nearly 25,000 square meters to Marine Goddess does not take away space from the areas granted in concession to Tankoa Yachts, which is building other slipways for superyachts nearby, except for the co-use of approximately 4.800 square meters of space relating to access and transit roads to reach the two shipyards.
