Bezos's gigayachts remain in Croatia for now, but Venice is filling up with pleasure boats.
Some units are in the lagoon to host the VIP guests expected at the event scheduled from 26 to 28 June

The much-discussed and criticized wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez in Venice has brought several pleasure boats to the lagoon, which in the coming days will host some of the VIPs invited to the event scheduled for June 26-28.
As reported by local press sources, Bezos has withdrawn from Koru, the 127-meter three-masted sailing yacht built in the Netherlands by Oceanco and delivered in 2023; it is currently located in Croatia. The Amazon founder preferred to be more discreet, partly because of the simmering conflict between Israel and Iran and partly to calm the spirits of those protesting the event. Also missing from the list will be Abeona, the maxi-yacht that serves as a support vessel and is often used to transport Bezos's favorite cars. It can also serve as a helicopter landing pad; it is also located along the Croatian coast.
Other illustrious guests, however, have not given up on having their own floating hotel in the lagoon, including the 122-meter-long Kismet, built in 2024 by Lürssen. Its owner is billionaire Shahid Khan.
Also notable is the 60-meter yacht Arience, built by Abeking & Rasmussen; her owner is Bill Miller.
Another pleasure vessel that does not go unnoticed is Were Dreams, 52,3 meters long and built by the Amels shipyard in 2008. It is the first model of the Amels 171 and belongs to the Brazilian entrepreneur Carlos Sanchez.
Also located in Venice are Eleni, a 49,9-meter yacht built in 2005 by the Italian shipyard CBI-Navi, as well as Lori, a 40-meter yacht built by Ocean King in 2024.
