CdM launches new Flexplorer 146 'Nasiba'
Highly customized by the owner, the yacht was designed for long cruises, with spaces designed for the psychophysical well-being of the whole family.

Cantiere delle Marche has announced the launch of Nasiba, the third unit in the Flexplorer 146 series. This yacht, the shipyard explains, reflects the distinctive spirit of the Flexplorer line through a bold design and exceptional versatility, and was designed for young owners with a strong desire for adventure.
With exterior lines reminiscent of Maverick, the first Flexplorer 146 launched, Nasiba stands out for a series of unique features and an original layout spread across four spacious decks, complete with a panoramic crow's nest. Conceived as a true ocean explorer, she was designed to tackle long and challenging voyages with maximum safety and comfort.
The owner actively participated in the project's development, collaborating closely with CdM and the Hydro Tec design studio. The goal was to create a yacht suitable for extended stays aboard, integrating robustness, functionality, and stylistic refinement with the needs of family life. Nasiba is equipped with the Flexplorer line's signature A-frame crane, discreet and flush with the deck, which handles tenders and large water toys.
The interiors, designed by renowned British studio Winch Design, offer a serene and tactile environment, focusing on natural materials, soothing hues, and delicate textures. In keeping with the owners' concern for health and sustainability, only natural, non-toxic, and eco-friendly materials have been used, favoring solutions that generate low levels of electromagnetic fields and materials with low emissions of volatile organic compounds. To ensure these standards, a Sustainable Materials Manager has been appointed to monitor the origin and characteristics of all materials used in the interiors.
Nasiba's layout, significantly different from other vessels in the series, was conceived with a young family cruising for extended periods in mind. The spaces were designed for physical and mental well-being, with integrated wellness areas and a layout that promotes balance and serenity. A notable example is the presence of a large multifunctional room dedicated to children's study and play, a rarity on yachts of this class, which underscores the family's commitment to nurturing growth and quality time on board.
“The owner wanted a yacht that could take his family anywhere in the world, without compromising comfort, privacy, or environmental responsibility,” commented Vasco Buonpensiere. “Nasiba perfectly reflects their healthy, environmentalist approach. She is a bold yet refined interpretation of what a contemporary explorer yacht can and should be: a fusion of performance, comfort, and sustainability, a yacht designed to allow you to sail to the world's most remote destinations with complete peace of mind.”
Nasiba is powered by two Caterpillar C32 Acert engines, each producing 746 kW, which allow her to reach a top speed of 14 knots. She also boasts a range of 5.500 nautical miles at 10 knots, ideal for long-distance cruising.
Nasiba is also equipped with a selective catalytic reduction system, ensuring full compliance with IMO Tier III emissions standards. This technology, which on another CdM unit (Babbo) has resulted in a reduction of NOx emissions of up to 93%, allows the explorer to navigate safely even in ecologically sensitive areas, including marine protected areas.
