Ocean King has launched its second Doge 400 'Ocean Angel'
The delivery to the owner will take place as soon as the sea trials are completed; her first cruise in the Mediterranean

Ocean King announces that it has launched Ocean Angel, its second unit in the Doge 400 series, for sea trials.
The 40-meter explorer superyacht Ocean Angel is the result of an entirely Italian collaboration. The aLot studio designed the exterior lines, combining significant volumes with a clean, refined aesthetic. The interiors were designed by Burdissocapponi Yachts & Design, who interpreted the owner's needs, creating a distinctive personality for the Doge 400, distinguished by fluid forms and a bold character.
Beyond its elegant design, the shipyard explains, Ocean Angel is an extraordinarily robust vessel, built with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure: “She is a true ocean explorer, designed and built entirely in Italy to guarantee long-range autonomy, ample stowage space, and the durability typical of commercial vessels, but with the luxury of a superyacht.”
The Doge 400's engineering ensures a range of over 4.000 nautical miles; this is possible thanks to an engine room equipped with cutting-edge systems and machinery. The spacious technical spaces are optimized to ensure self-sufficiency and comfort, even on long voyages far from ports and marinas.
Spread across three decks, Ocean Angel is an example of "refined nautical craftsmanship," explains Ocean King. "The exterior lines are majestic, fluid, and harmonious, while the interiors are distinguished by understated elegance and simplicity, designed to offer a unique and tailored onboard experience. Each space blends contemporary elegance and functionality, with floor-to-ceiling windows that maximize natural light and strengthen the connection between interior and exterior spaces."
Among the wellness areas, the spacious beach club features a sauna, hammam, and a small gym. This versatile space can also be transformed into a technical area, thanks to a 1,2-ton telescopic crane integrated into the ceiling, capable of easily moving a 6,25-meter tender. Retractable balconies offer direct and convenient access to the sea, creating a seamless connection with the surrounding environment.
With a five-cabin layout, the Doge 400 is configured to accommodate up to 12 guests, ensuring comfort and privacy. The crew quarters, consisting of four cabins, can accommodate up to seven members, ensuring efficient and discreet service.
In terms of performance, the Doge 400 is powered by twin Caterpillar engines, which allow it to reach a top speed of over 15 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots.
After completing sea trials, Ocean Angel will be delivered to her owner, ready to explore the Mediterranean and beyond.
