Sanguineti expands its production capacity to a new headquarters in Casarza Ligure.

Sanguineti, a historic company specializing in the production of superyacht equipment and part of the Quick Group since 2023, has completed its move to its new production facility in Casarza Ligure (Genoa). This move marks a significant development milestone for the company, which aims to consolidate its position in the global luxury yachting market by doubling its capacity and renovating its infrastructure.

The move to the new 8.000-square-meter facility, the company explains, is the result of a total investment of over €4 million. Of this, €3 million was allocated to the infrastructure development of the new plant, while approximately €1,6 million was used to purchase state-of-the-art machinery. This investment plan comes during a period of strong growth for Sanguineti, which has seen its turnover more than double in the last two years.

The new headquarters was designed to maximize efficiency and production flexibility, optimizing the distribution of internal spaces (offices, production departments) and external areas. The goal is to improve working conditions for highly specialized personnel and foster closer collaboration between departments and with other Group entities.

Founded in 1958, Sanguineti has a long tradition of designing and manufacturing custom equipment for superyachts, maintaining a handcrafted approach that is an authentic expression of Italian manufacturing quality. Components such as gangways, swim platforms, tender davits, multifunctional ladders, and director's seats are recognized worldwide and are even present on historic vessels launched decades ago.

Simone Lorenzano, managing director of Sanguineti since February 2025 and a manager with many years of experience in the sector, commented: “Sanguineti has a long and incredible history and a solid reputation for the quality of its products and their craftsmanship. However, the production capacity of the historic Chiavari facility was limited. Joining Quick Group has opened up new and exciting investment and development opportunities: today, we have a modern, custom-designed facility that is double the size of our previous one.”

The new facility is now equipped with a full range of cutting-edge technologies, including CNC milling machines, lathes, and waterjet cutting machines, all digitally interconnected with the technical office, as well as a new paint booth. "We are now fully compliant with Industry 4.0 standards, with significant benefits in production times," Lorenzano emphasized, "but above all, we have integrated this evolution without distorting our identity. Our products are never mass-produced: each cylinder, gangway, or crane is a unique piece or part of a small series, crafted with extreme care."

In addition to strengthening its infrastructure and technology, Sanguineti has launched a plan to strengthen its workforce, aiming to increase its workforce. The new hires will be supported by experienced workers, ensuring the generational transfer of the knowledge and skills that have made the company a benchmark in the international nautical scene.

"Currently, our main market is superyachts between 30 and 60 meters, but we're ready to take things to the next level," Lorenzano concluded. "Thanks to our new spaces and cutting-edge machinery, we're able to tackle projects exceeding 80 meters. Evolving is part of our DNA, and the new Casarza Ligure facility represents a fundamental step in our journey."
