San Giorgio Yachting luxury experiences is born, premium packages for superyachts
The service is available for every Italian port and allows shipowners and guests to enjoy exclusive and customizable experiences through a dedicated app.
San Giorgio Yachting Luxury Experiences is the new service from the Genoese shipping agency, offering shipowners and guests customizable packages of high-end experiences in all Italian ports. SUPER YACHT 24 spoke with Fabrizio Multari, general manager of San Giorgio Shipping and Yachting Services: "We've invested time and passion," he explains, "to create this new top-level service dedicated to local management companies, both in Monaco and Italy, and therefore to charter brokers or managers who need to deal directly with yacht guests. The service is available in all Italian ports, where shipowners will have the opportunity to choose experiences already prepared by us and still customizable, offering an alternative to the usual destinations and experiences."
What are the most important implications of the service?
"San Giorgio Yachting Luxury Experiences represents a significant aid for brokers and charter managers, who no longer have to create a custom itinerary for the captain and yacht's guests. Above all, it helps them always have excellent alternatives for super experiences in every Italian port."
How do packages work?
We organize experiences well in advance of guests' arrival, and one of the project's strengths is its preparation: before guests depart on their cruise, we send them a special box to their home or hotel upon arrival in Italy. Inside, they'll find postcards and photographs relating to their chosen itinerary. Furthermore, using QR codes attached to the postcards, they can access an app we created that allows guests to directly build their itinerary, view the chosen activities and a description of the experience, and choose additional options.
How does your service differ from others that may already be available?
We've invested heavily in this service because, in reality, no one else is offering it yet. Local agencies are offering it, but San Giorgio Yachting Luxury Experiences is available throughout Italy and is organized in such a way that brokers are relieved of much of the work, as are the captains, who only need to transport the guests; we take care of everything else. It's a new service that sets us apart from other agencies, and it required a lot of work: we visited various locations, researched the information, and spoke with suppliers, so we even have intellectual property rights for this part of the experience. We're satisfied for now, and we'll evaluate the results at the end of the season.
Is the service also dedicated to private shipowners?
“Yes, the service is designed for both commercial yachts, managed by yacht management companies, and private yachts, where the captain proposes experiences to his guests, who will then choose them through our app, which will be released by mid-May.”
