Baglietto launches the new 44-meter Speedy Bear
The superyacht belongs to the Fast line designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design

Following the launches of Dom133 no. 10252 and T52 no. 10259, last week Baglietto launched the 44-meter custom planing superyacht named Speedy Bear, a 44m superyacht destined for an owner who, the shipyard informs, is a great fan of Baglietto yachts that have written the history of fast boats.
The project is in fact by Francesco Paszkowski Design, who also designed the interiors in collaboration with Margherita Casprini, and reinterprets the classic lines of Baglietto's historic aluminum fast production, updating it according to the most modern stylistic features of the Fast range recently proposed by the seagull brand.
In particular, the shipyard recalls, “the vertical stern evokes successful models such as Monokini (winner of the Compasso D'Oro) or Pachamama, just to name a few, renewing them: here in fact the folding hatch offers a comfortable beach platform with a lounge area.”
The innovative hard top gives the yacht a contemporary feel, offering a valuable shaded area on the flybridge. Aft on the main deck, the lowered superstructure makes room for a sofa with a dining area. A swimming pool is also located here, while two fold-down terraces open outward to allow for greater contact with the sea.
The yacht is powered by 2 Mtu 12V4000 M93 L engines which allow a cruising speed of 23 knots and a maximum speed of 27.
"Innovation within tradition: this could be the essence of this new hull," said Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto's commercial director, adding: "A custom project with a classic feel, yet not lacking in innovation. A yacht reminiscent of vessels that have shaped nautical history and were revolutionary for the brand, drawing on their essential styling, yet at the same time a unique and entirely new project, true to Baglietto's DNA."
