The Sardinian Port Network has doubled its number of berths thanks to the addition of 14 new marinas.
The island's marina network has grown from 4.075 to 8.332 berths, an increase of 4.275 available berths. The focus is now on internationalization.

The Sardinian Port Network is growing and doubling its capacity. With the official addition of 14 new facilities, the island's marina network has grown from 4.075 to 8.332 berths, an increase of 4.275 available berths, as announced during the members' meeting.
Following the approval of the 2024 budget, membership applications from fourteen new facilities were reviewed and approved unanimously. The new members of the network are: Marina di Sant'Elmo, Porto di Castelsardo, Marina Cala dei Sardi, Marinedì (with the marinas of Cagliari, Teulada, and Villasimius), Marina di Fertilia, Saromar (with Capitana, Portoscuso, and Perd'e Sali), the Alghero Port Consortium, Marina Aquatica, Stintino Porto Mannu, Marina di Stintino, and Nautica Pinna. With these new additions, the network's membership reaches 29.
Numerical growth is accompanied by technological and strategic evolution. To improve the usability of its services and simplify cruise planning, the association has developed a new app, now available, that allows boaters and shipowners to check mooring availability in member facilities in real time. This simple, intuitive, and functional tool is designed for those already sailing or planning a nautical holiday in Sardinia.
The assembly also emphasized promoting the network nationally and internationally. The Sardinia Ports Network will be present at the main nautical industry events, from the Cannes Yachting Festival to the Monaco Yacht Show, the Genoa International Boat Show, and the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference. Not to mention the Sardinia Boat Show, which this year will be held in Marina di Porto Rotondo from April 30th to May 4th.
"With the addition of these new members," said the association's president, Dr. Matteo Molinas, "we can offer a more comprehensive service across the entire island. The new app is just one of the many tools we want to make available to boating enthusiasts. We also aim to raise awareness of lesser-known facilities to a wider audience, leveraging international events to promote the full potential of Sardinia's nautical scene."
