Daniele Lucà has been appointed CEO of Simpson Marine. In his new role, Sanlorenzo informs, Lucà will report directly to Massimo Perotti, Executive Chairman, and will lead the development of the Sanlorenzo Group's strategic business in Asia Pacific, through his controlled, Simpson Marine, consolidating the presence of the Sanlorenzo, Bluegame and Nautor Swan brands in a rapidly growing market of crucial importance for the company.

With an Executive MBA from the ESCP Business School in Paris, Daniele has held the role of Sales Director of the Yacht Business Unit since September 2023, leading commercial operations in the EMEA, APAC, NAFTA, and LATAM markets and overseeing the development of the sales and distribution network, "contributing significantly to Sanlorenzo's international growth."

Before joining Sanlorenzo, Lucà served as Senior Vice President at Snam SpA, managing strategic investments for the development of sustainable mobility, with a particular focus on hydrogen and biomethane. Previously, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Teoresi SpA. He also gained significant experience at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) as Director of Corporate Development for EMEA, contributing to the group's transition to electric mobility and playing a key role in the merger with PSA, which led to the creation of Stellantis.

"The appointment of Daniele Lucà, a manager who has demonstrated over the years his passion, commitment, professionalism, and vision, is an important step towards our growth in the APAC market, a rapidly expanding region where we are focusing on the growth of the Sanlorenzo, Bluegame, and Nautor Swan brands," said Massimo Perotti, Executive Chairman of Sanlorenzo. "With Daniele's new leadership, and together with the entire Simpson Marine team, which boasts excellent knowledge of the high-end yachting sector, market dynamics, and a broad reach across key regions, I am confident we will seize the growth opportunities we have set ourselves."

Daniele Lucà, CEO of Simpson Marine, added: "I am proud of the trust placed in me by our Chairman and the entire Sanlorenzo board in leading the Group's growth and success in APAC through Simpson Marine, which has been recognized for its excellence for forty years. We will strengthen our presence in this region, further enhancing the positioning of our brands and increasing market awareness of our product range. We will focus on expanding our distribution network, improving our service levels to further enhance customer satisfaction, and integrating strategic partners in key markets." This appointment is part of the Group's recent organizational structure and confirms Sanlorenzo's commitment to strengthening its management team and subsidiaries for continued and strategic growth globally.
