Construction of Comar Yachts' C Cat 65 catamaran is progressing quickly.
At 21 meters overall, the new model from the Fiumicino (Rome) shipyard boasts technological construction thanks to vacuum-sealed carbon fiber and a custom mast made in-house. The yacht will be launched this summer.

Innovative, high-performance, and elegant. This is the C Cat 65 from Comar Yachts, the new flagship of the Lazio-based shipyard's fleet, which will be launched next summer. Construction is proceeding at a rapid pace: the deck and hull have been joined, a crucial milestone leading up to the first launch scheduled for a few months from now. The construction uses Spabond, a structural epoxy adhesive recognized for its exceptional strength, while vacuum-sealed carbon fiber was used for the interior resin: a process that requires extensive lead times to achieve excellent workmanship standards. "Furthermore, we are introducing an innovative technology for the creation of carbon elements with custom designs, combining functionality, aesthetics, and lightness," explains Amerigo Guardigli, the shipyard's COO.
The 65 will be equipped with new Antal winches and a Harken FlatWinder mainsail traveler. The daggerboards have been redesigned from round to straight, allowing for better and more precise trim while sailing. The carbon mast will be built in-house using "finite element calculations, ensuring every last millimeter of thickness is meticulously detailed during construction," says Davide Caroselli of Comar Yachts. The interior layout features three cabins, including a master stateroom with direct access from the cockpit. The cockpit itself, featuring seating integrated into the hardtop, promises a unique experience in terms of comfort, visibility, and style.
