Overmarine Group starts 2025 with two launches
A Mangusta Oceano 39 and a Mangusta GranSport 33 were christened in the water in the space of a few days

Overmarine Group officially kicks off the new year with two launches within a few days.
The Tuscan shipyard announces that it launched the first ship of 2025 on Friday 10 January: the third Mangusta Oceano 39 unit entered the water, destined for a loyal American customer, the entry level of the Mangusta Oceano “displacement” line.
The shipyard explains in its press release, "The Mangusta Oceano 39 is a modern villa on the sea, with impressive glass surfaces and volumes exceeding its category." The two saloons on the main and upper decks feature full-height windows, some of which can be opened, allowing for close contact with the surrounding environment, for a lifestyle dedicated to the pleasure of being at sea. The aft area and fold-down terraces provide access to the beach house, creating a natural extension of the water for relaxing in complete privacy.
At the bow of the superyacht is the "Mangusta Design Feature" infinity pool on the upper deck, with a partially glazed floor to illuminate the owner's suite below. The fully customizable interiors and layout were developed by the shipyard's design team in conjunction with the Fm architecture firm.
Equipped with 2 Mtu 16V 2000 M96L engines, the Mangusta Oceano 39 will be able to cruise at 16 knots and reach a top speed of 18 knots with a range of up to 2100 nautical miles.
Four days later, on Tuesday 14th January, the launching ceremony of the tenth unit took place Mangusta GranSport 33 destined for a European customer.
“A very successful product, along with other units sold and under construction, is the Mangusta GranSport 33, the entry-level composite yacht in the Mangusta GranSport line. It is powered by four 1.000 HP Volvo Penta engines and four IPS pods, guaranteeing comfort, reduced fuel consumption and ease of handling,” Mangusta informs.
The maximum speed of this yacht is 25 knots while maintaining high levels of comfort in terms of low vibrations and silence.
This model is also the result of the shipyard's long-standing collaboration with designer Alberto Mancini, who has created a vessel with bold, sporty and modern lines, evoking the Mangusta family feeling in a 33-meter yacht that combines performance, range, and large interior and exterior spaces.
The layout features a 5-cabin configuration, with the owner's suite located on the main deck and boasting a 40m2 surface area as well as large glass surfaces designed to ensure constant visual contact with the sea while preserving the necessary privacy.
Overmarine Group, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, announces that it will be present at the next Düsseldorf boat show from January 18th to 26th together with Michl Marine and that from February 19th to 23rd it will exhibit one of its boats in the water at the Dubai boat show.
