Custom Line presents its flagship Custom Line 50 in aluminum
The superyacht that debuts in the segment of metal yachts under 500 GT has 800 square meters of living space on board, 324 of which are external.

Custom Line 50, the first 50-meter superyacht built entirely in aluminum, is the new displacement flagship of the Custom Line brand, making its debut in the market segment of metal yachts under 500 GT.
The shipyard presents its new 49,90 m long and 9,60 m wide superyacht, which, spread over four decks, features the innovative solution of the owner's suite forward on the upper deck, dedicated exclusively to the owner, and the beach club with an infinity pool integrated into the main deck, a unique 120 m4 convivial space in close contact with the sea.
There are over 800 square meters of living space on board, including 324 square meters of outdoor space. This generous volume, typically found on much larger vessels, is designed to ensure maximum privacy for the owner and guests. A draft of 2,2 meters makes the yacht ideal for cruising and mooring in shallow waters like the Caribbean.
The result of a collaboration between the Product Strategy Department, headed by Engineer Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard Engineering Department, based, like the shipyard, in Ancona, the Custom Line 50 features exterior design by architect Filippo Salvetti and the architectural design and interiors by Studio Acpv Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, both completely custom-built.
The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in a master suite and four dedicated cabins on the lower deck. Five cabins are also designed to ensure maximum comfort for the nine crew members.
The exterior design is distinguished by a timeless classic feel: the lines and shapes are essential and clean, with a prevalence of horizontal reading that gives this vessel a sporty and elegant character.
The Custom Line 50, the shipyard explains in its press release, introduces an unprecedented feature in its segment: a deck entirely dedicated to the owner, usually reserved for vessels over 60 metres.
The new flagship stands out for its layout centered around the 75-square-meter owner's suite. Located forward on the upper deck and flooded with light thanks to large, floor-to-ceiling windows that extend forward, it offers panoramic views and direct access to a private terrace. Maximum owner privacy, guaranteed by completely separate walkways and passageways for guests and crew, is a key aspect of this megayacht. A meticulously designed layout and clever interior layout ensure maximum comfort on board.
Another distinctive feature of the Custom Line 50 is the interconnection between spaces, evident in all guest areas and in particular in the lounges on the main and upper decks, which is enhanced by the extensive use of mirrored surfaces combined with large curved windows designed exclusively for this boat.
Expansive outdoor spaces characterize every deck of the yacht, creating authentic terraces overlooking the sea, perfect for enjoying at any time of day thanks to the generously sized exterior decks, which provide shade and shelter from the sun. The seamless continuity between the Custom Line 50's open-air spaces is best expressed in the innovative two-level beach club.
The interiors are developed according to a concept aimed at refinement of detail and are distinguished by an innovative and refined use of materials, which enhances the concept of three-dimensionality, giving a strong materiality to the spaces.
Il main deck of Custom Line 50 stands out for its total integration between interior and exterior and for an innovative concept of spaces external, where the two-level beach club sits atop the water like a true beach on the sea. The area connects and seamlessly integrates with the aft cockpit on the main deck via a dramatic infinity pool featuring a large window, allowing for visual continuity between the sea and the pool itself.
The area extends over 30 m2 and is set up as an elegant private lounge with a sunbathing area, becoming a versatile and welcoming environment, ideal for relaxation or entertainment.
Thanks to a “drawer” transformer, the beach club transforms into a real beach area, offering direct access to the water. It was designed to ensure maximum safety thanks to the presence of two wings on the sides of the transformer, which fold towards the stern, expanding the usable area and which can be closed during navigation, creating a safe barrier.
The cockpit of almost 65 m2, completely open towards the beach club, is furnished with exclusive lounge seating, which enhances the multifunctionality of the spaces. Completing the outdoor area is the pool, with a bar that also acts as a barrier between the lounge area and the additional sunbathing area.
A sliding glass door leads to the main salon: an open space where the rooms take on a convivial function, further expanding the social areas on board. The large glass surfaces flood the spaces with light, intensifying the sensorial connection with the sea and amplifying the feeling of openness.
At the entrance, a spacious living area features a sophisticated and functional design. The space is furnished with two large, comfortable sofas, flanked by leather armchairs and ottomans. The saloon opens onto a refined dining area, featuring a majestic oval marble table that seats up to 12. Reflective windows here also offer expansive views of the seascape.
Walking along the deck, you reach the lobby, where the designer staircase is the aesthetic and functional fulcrum between the lower and upper decks. The stairwell walls are covered in wallpaper featuring an Alcantara texture, designed to reduce noise, enhanced by the meticulous craftsmanship of the details.
This area also houses the guest elevator, which crosses and connects the three internal decks, with the option of extending to the sundeck, and is covered with reflective surfaces and the same wallpaper as the stairs.
Continuing forward, the captain's cabin leads to the helm station on a raised mezzanine: a solution that improves visibility and frees up space on the main deck. Here, the large glass surfaces offer optimal visibility for precise maneuvers, ensuring safety and control. On the port side of the ship are the pantry and galley, directly accessible from the dining area.
At the extreme bow there is an open-air technical stowage area complete with a davit to facilitate the handling and launching of tenders and water toys.
At the bow of the upper deckThe owner's apartment extends over 75 square meters, ensuring absolute comfort and privacy. The cabin is surrounded by large panoramic windows and opens onto a private terrace, creating an environment bathed in natural light and seamlessly blending with the seascape. Double sliding windows in the bow, combined with a flush floor, lead to an outdoor lounge with sofas, while a few steps lead to an additional solarium that offers unique sea views and complete privacy from the sun deck and other areas of the yacht.
At the entrance to the master stateroom, to starboard, is the ensuite master bathroom, consisting of two bathrooms connected by a large walk-through shower. Continuing aft, you'll find the staircase and elevator unit connecting the various decks. To port is the day head, with the pantry located behind it. Continuing straight ahead, you enter the sky lounge, where large reflective surfaces emphasize the openness to the outdoors.
At the aft end of the upper deck, sliding glass doors open to a spacious 60 square meter outdoor lounge area furnished with elegant sofas and a coffee table. The space extends into an al fresco dining area shaded by the sun deck above, featuring a fully custom table for 12 and a contemporary storage unit, perfect for socializing while soaking up the beauty of the surrounding environment.
The 106-square-meter sundeck stands out for its versatility, offering multifunctional spaces ideal for relaxation and entertainment. At the stern, the double-glazed hydromassage pool enhances the sea view. Next to it is the lounge area, furnished with large sofas and a cabinet with a retractable TV. Further along the deck are an American bar and a barbecue area, fronted by tables that can convert into a dining table for 12 guests.
The sundeck is accessible via two dedicated routes: the guest staircase located aft and a service passage reserved for the crew, connected to the upper deck pantry by a hidden staircase integrated into the wet bar. The layout was designed to ensure functional separation of circulation flows on board, allowing the crew to move around discreetly and offering guests greater privacy.
Accessing the lower deck via the lift or staircase, you reach the lobby of the sleeping area, an elegant and functional space that distributes the entrances to the four guest cabins arranged in mirrored pairs, which include two VIP and two guest, all equipped with private bathrooms and characterised by generous dimensions with heights exceeding 2m.
In lower deck There's also a dedicated crew area, designed for maximum livability and functionality. The spacious crew quarters include four double cabins with private bathrooms; there's also a service pantry and a separate laundry room, making the space efficient and well-organized. The area is located entirely forward, connecting the crew, galley, bridge, and captain's quarters into just two decks. This ensures greater separation between guests and crew, as well as greater fluidity in crew operations.
Aft, beyond the engine room, is the main garage designed to accommodate a 6,25 m tender. The launching and hauling system has been designed for maximum convenience.
Ideal for covering long distances with low fuel consumption and class-leading performance, the Custom Line 50 is powered by two Cat C32 Acert engines, each generating 1081 kW. This allows for a top speed of 16 knots and a range of approximately 4.500 nautical miles at an economical cruising speed of 10 knots.
The yacht was designed with the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system with a 70% reduction in NOx emissions and is IMO Tier III certified, following the Ferretti Group's design vision, strongly focused on respect for the environment and sustainable development.
The generously sized engine room, the shipyard continues, boasts excellent ergonomics and ensures easy access to the engines and onboard systems. It offers direct and convenient access from the cockpit via a stairway to port.
“Custom Line 50 installs very high quality technology, thanks to the integration of new components and systems on board, including the mechanical stern movements by AMS and the stabilization systems by CMC Marine (4X Zero Speed Electric Fins) to guarantee maximum comfort on board both when sailing and at anchor, and the high-efficiency air conditioning systems.
The wheelhouse, located on the mezzanine between the main and upper decks, features an integrated dashboard for managing propulsion, navigation, and onboard monitoring in a single, intuitive, advanced naval interface. Developed with Team Italia, the dashboard comprises a 44" central display and two 24" side monitors.
The hull, made entirely of lightweight aluminum alloy, was developed using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), which optimizes hydrodynamic performance. The result is an elegant and efficient design that reduces drag, improves stability, and enhances overall performance, ensuring a smooth, fuel-efficient ride even in rough sea conditions. In fact, the Custom Line 50 was designed to minimize environmental impact thanks to its reduced weight, advanced hydrodynamics, and the use of recyclable materials on board.
This yacht offers a unique combination of customization, performance and efficiency, setting a new benchmark in the industry and offering the exclusivity of a custom build with the affordability of a semi-series production model,” the statement concludes.
