Ingemar completes the maxi-floating structure for the Grand Hotel Dino
Designed to facilitate access for guests coming from the lake, the base measures 100 m2 and is flanked by two breakwaters for guests' boats and in some cases can also function as a private heliport.

Specializing in the production and installation of floating pontoons and breakwaters, Ingemar announces the completion of a series of projects for a wide range of clients, from marinas to private businesses, hotels, public entities, and associations. In the hospitality sector, Ingemar installed a king-size T-shaped floating structure in Baveno on Lake Maggiore, overlooking the Grand Hotel Dino to facilitate access for guests arriving from the lake. The over 100-square-meter structure is flanked by two floating breakwaters that provide a necessary mooring for guests' boats and, in special circumstances, can also be transformed into a private helipad. In Venice, a new floating structure designed for the mooring of lanciani, traditional tourist boats, has been installed in front of the Hilton Molino Stucky Hotel on the Giudecca Canal. This structure offers reduced maintenance costs and a similar aesthetic impact to the existing structure.
In the ports and marinas sector, redevelopment and modernization work has been completed, with new floating structures replacing the fixed ones at Marina del Cavallino and Porto di Albarella near Venice. In some locations, the port layout has been modified to meet changing needs by adding new floating docks to existing fixed structures, such as at Marina di Capitana near Cagliari, while in others, the old floating docks have been partially or completely replaced, such as at Santa Teresa di Gallura and the Port of Palau, where Ingemar is also completing the installation of new service stations. In the private sector, the company has installed two new dockside landing stages for English-style mooring in Venice, serving operators of the Mose system at the Malamocco inlet. These landing stages are intended for workboats maintaining the floodgate system, and in Taranto, a new floating pier with related access systems for connection to the floating dock of the Military Arsenal.
For the Municipality of Casamicciola, near Naples, Ingemar completed the replacement of the old piers and installed a new breakwater at the municipal landing stage. In Gallipoli (Lecce) also installed a series of special piers for fishing vessels, complete with non-fouling fenders, bollards, boarding ladders, and fire extinguishers. Various activities have also been undertaken for associations and the development of sustainable recreational boating, such as the Marina4all project, sponsored by Confindustria Nautica, which produces special products for people with disabilities.
Sebastiano Pulina, CEO of Ingemar, stated, "These 'non-traditional' developments have further increased our usual commitments and have also led to a significant reorganization of internal resources, with the addition of new professional figures. Given the rapidly changing times and markets," Pulina continued, "I believe we could not have celebrated our important milestone of 45 years in business better or with greater satisfaction. I am certain that these innovations will soon be joined by others, which are currently being studied and designed. Constant attention to the needs of each individual client, resulting in solutions that are guaranteed to be functional and reliable, is in our DNA. Thanks to our advanced engineering capabilities and new systems, we are now able to overcome the limitations of conventional solutions and solve problems that, both in terms of size and functionality, were unthinkable just a few years ago. We have many important projects under development, and we are confident that 2025 will be an even richer year of exciting achievements."
