Benetti's new Class 44M, Juno's 7, launched
The experienced shipowner is American. The relationship between the United States and the Italian shipyard appears poised to strengthen even further with new investments in Florida.

Juno's 7 was launched today in Viareggio, the first unit of Benetti's 44-meter Class series, designed entirely by Giorgio Maria Cassetta.
The ceremony was attended by the American owner, along with his family and friends, as well as the large Benetti staff who oversaw the yacht's construction and the crew. In his address, the owner announced that he will use his new superyacht for family cruises, initially in the Mediterranean and then continuing to the Caribbean.
BP008, the initial name of the fiberglass project, features informal spaces designed for relaxation and comfort. Among its features is an even greater use of transparent surfaces, which not only enhances the already high level of natural lighting but also creates a greater sense of proximity to the sea. The main difference—as project manager Federica Brascugli told SUPER YACHT 24—compared to previous 44-meter models is its sixth cabin, a special VIP cabin on the upper deck, offering exceptional space and maximum brightness. This joins the four on the lower deck and the owner's suite forward. Another distinctive feature of Juno's 7 is the revised design of the windows—now much larger—which enhances the model's much sleeker exterior lines.
The sale of this Class 44M was arranged by Nick Bishoff, country manager - Americas/Benetti. As is well known, and as this latest construction demonstrates, Benetti's relationship with America is very important, so much so that the shipyard has always recurred in two Florida boat shows: Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale. Further confirming this bond is the recent visit to the Viareggio construction site by the governor of FloridaDuring his visit to Italy, Governor Ron DeSantis contacted the Benetti shipyard to visit it, motivated by the desire to evaluate future investments in Florida, which – from what he learned – could interest the shipyard for its refit activities in Fort Lauderdale.
