Simona Del Re resigns as president of The Italian Sea Group
Having joined the shipbuilding group in 2022, the manager is leaving her position for "supervening personal reasons."

Simona Del Re has resigned from her position as member and Chair of the Board of Directors of The Italian Sea Group "due to unforeseen personal reasons." The company announced this in a statement, specifying that her resignation will be effective November 12.
It is unclear whether this decision has any connection with the Bayesian affair, which the New York Times investigated on October 31st and against which the shipyard itself announced yesterday that it would file a defamation lawsuit.
Simona Del Re took up the position in June 2024, succeeding Filippo Menghelli.
Born in Livorno, with twenty years of experience in the luxury sector, where she held managerial roles for prestigious global brands, she joined TISG in 2022, where she established and led the ESG & Corporate Affairs area. She then took over the Corporate Governance and Investor Relations areas, serving as Investor Relations & ESG Director before her latest promotion.
