Garmin expands business with acquisition of Lumishore
The English company specializes in the design and production of underwater and on-board lighting systems for boats of all types and sizes.
Garmin, a manufacturer of marine electronics, has announced the acquisition of Lumishore, a company specializing in LED lighting systems for boats. Stefano Viganò, CEO of Garmin Italy, explained: "Lumishore brings a new category of instruments to our company that integrate seamlessly with Garmin's existing product range, bringing a new level of connectivity and connectivity to boats. As a leader in LED onboard lighting, Lumishore will extend Garmin's innovative solutions throughout the vessel, providing unprecedented control and management technology for LEDs on board."
With over 15 years of experience, explains Garmin Italy, Lumishore offers high-quality lighting systems used on a wide variety of vessels, from small boats to superyachts.
