Italian Vessels launches the 38-meter Cheyenne and unveils the construction of a new 24-meter vessel.
The Molise shipyard aims to develop its custom construction business

As a announced The first superyacht built by Italian Vessels, the Termoli-based shipyard owned by the Parigi family and active in construction and refit, has been launched and named Cheyenne.
The 38-meter yacht, commissioned by a Belgian owner resident in Monte Carlo, will be for private use and will also be used as a representative office.
"This isn't the owner's first yacht, but it's certainly his first custom-built yacht to suit his own tastes and needs. Studio Samarelli of Molfetta supported him on this project, designing the engineering and exterior lines, while the interiors were designed by architect Francesca Cianficconi of Rome," Marco Parigi, who heads the shipyard with his brother Eugenio and his father, Captain Mario—also president of Assoporto Termoli—informs us.
"The yacht is made of steel and aluminum, can easily make a crossing, and its engines already have SCR systems to reduce emissions. I'd say that given the characteristics of its systems, it would be better described as a ship rather than a yacht. Cheyenne will leave Termoli towards the end of the year, because first it will have to complete all its checks," continues Parigi. "It will then be based either in Monaco or Liguria; it hasn't been decided yet."
The Molise-based shipyard also revealed that it is working on a new yacht: a 24-meter yacht (94 feet with the appendix). Work began on spec during the Covid-19 pandemic, and the yacht—currently under negotiation for sale—is nearing the fitting-out stage. Interior and exterior design by architect Tommaso Spadolini, the yacht's naval architecture is by engineer Umberto Tagliavini. "It's a beautiful project," explains Marco Parigi. "It's built in steel and aluminum. We believe that once the owner's desired interiors have been decided, we'll be able to consider it ready within 15-18 months."
Thanks to the Parigi family, the shipyard has now fully resumed its custom construction and refit operations. "We started out as a small company compared to the very large Italian companies in the sector," recalls Marco Parigi, "with the belief that our work, which consists of building a few boats, but doing them very well, following the client's needs, would be the right way for us to make ourselves known and grow."
