A free meteorology course for Super Captains Team captains offered by Navimeteo
The course, both in person and online, will explore the management of on-board weather information and Mediterranean marine weather phenomena.

Navimeteo, a company active in the specific solutions for meteorological routing and satellite tracking for forecast accuracy and creator of practical courses in marine meteorology, offers a free practical course aimed only at members of Super Captains Team, a trade union representing the interests of yacht captains, founded last July and chaired by Captain Armando Macrì, and made up of approximately 200 member captains of all nationalities.
The course, "Understanding the Weather – Knowing the Sea," taught by Navimeteo staff in collaboration with Super Captains Team and aimed at recreational vessel captains, will be held on November 5, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A maximum of 10 people will be able to attend in person in Chiavari (Genoa), while the remaining 100 people can participate online upon registration. The course's objectives include: a review of the basic principles of marine meteorology, management of onboard weather information, and an in-depth look at Mediterranean marine weather phenomena. Upon completion of the course, a certificate of competence and participation will be issued, along with the course handouts in PDF format.
"This course will be held in Italian," Super Captains Team informs, "but an English version will soon follow. The program for the course's first presentation event, featuring various sponsors and partners, will also be released shortly."
