Italian interiors for Heesen Yachts' 57-meter Project Setteesettanta
The interiors will be designed by the well-known designer Cristiano Gatto who is also the owner's representative in the construction project.

The hull and superstructure have been joined and the engine fitted on Heesen's 57-metre, four-deck superyacht, the fully custom, shallow-draft vessel codenamed 'Project Sevenseventy'.
The project at this stage offers for the first time a taste of what its profile will be, thus showcasing the exterior design by Omega Architecs which combines elegance and functionality, and prepares for the new interior design phase which will be followed by the Italian designer Cristiano Gatto , which in addition to this task also has that of representing the shipowner.
"This project is a pioneering undertaking, in which our studio is passionately committed both to the interior design and as the owner's representative. I extend my sincere gratitude to the owners for entrusting us with this undertaking. Today, we appreciate the beauty of this project in reality. While contemporary technology like 3D visualization provides a good idea of how the yacht will look, seeing the design come to life makes a significant difference," commented Cristiano Gatto, who has already collaborated on twelve previous projects with the Dutch shipyard in his career.
"The interior design of the Settesettanta project stands out for its pursuit of simple, rounded, and anthropomorphic forms, conceived to harmonize the geometry of the vessel and its layout with the best possible onboard experience. The primary goal is to inspire comfort and elegance. The use of large white surfaces is designed to maximize natural light and create a serene and relaxing environment, where every material is chosen to convey simplicity and refinement. Furthermore, the use of semi-precious materials, such as natural stone, along with semi-precious leather and metalwork, make the project both sophisticated and natural," added Cristiano Gatto, who a few days ago conducted the marble selection process in Verona, "ensuring that the finest materials complement the yacht's sophisticated interior design."
Project Setteesettanta, whose construction began in 2023, is the first Heesen yacht to feature a fourth deck. She maintains the brand's elegant look while incorporating innovative design elements, including a lightweight, discreet mast and new Star Link flat-panel communications panels. Owner privacy is a priority, with a private upper deck featuring a master stateroom with panoramic views and a private terrace.
Niels Vaessen, CEO of Heesen, expressed his satisfaction at having been entrusted with the creation of this custom yacht by experienced owners who are already clients of the brand: “The Setteesettanta project truly reflects Heesen’s core values, with its aluminum hull, shallow draft, and precise engineering; this 57-meter yacht is taking shape and fills us with pride. Celebrating this milestone and honoring maritime traditions with the owners and their team is particularly meaningful. We are proud of our in-house expertise and capabilities and look forward to growing as a shipyard, motivated by the inspiring vision of experienced owners.”
The 920 GT superyacht is built entirely of aluminum; it has an ultra-efficient FDHF (Fast Displacement Hull Form) hull and is equipped with two MTU 16V2000 engines that will give it a top speed of 18 knots. Its launch is scheduled for January 2026.
