Wider and Phathom Studio together for the Aetherius project
A 72-metre yacht featuring hybrid propulsion, a beach club with simulated sand and intelligent lighting panels that mimic the sky, and a master stateroom with direct access to the private spa/pool.
The new 72-metre vessel, the result of the collaboration between Phathom Studio e Contrary, a model that, according to the shipyard, will redefine the yachting experience. The exterior areas are optimized for guests' relaxation and entertainment, with a layout that abandons formality in favor of dynamic functionality. Oversized windows flood the interior with light, while the main deck saloon captivates with its outdoor seating area and architectural details.
The master stateroom stands out for its direct access to a private spa pool on the foredeck. From the upper deck bar and billiards area, which easily transforms into a nightclub, to the six guest suites and spacious crew quarters, which can accommodate a total of 21 crew members, every aspect of Aetherius is designed to exceed expectations.
The beach club is one of its highlights: equipped with a simulated sand platform, fold-out side cabanas, and a host of amenities including a gym, hammam, sauna, and an indoor/outdoor infinity pool. Intelligent lighting panels mimic the sky, blurring the lines between interior and exterior, creating an immersive marine atmosphere. “Open-air spaces characterize many areas, designed for multifunctional use, inspired by adventure and connection with the surrounding environment. We want to satisfy the desires of a new generation of owners who, with a concept like Aetherius, can experience sensations that go beyond simple ownership,” said Sean Bekeschus of Phathom Studio.
The technological platform on which the yacht was developed includes the latest generation of the Wider hybrid propulsion system, consisting of two variable-speed generators combined with a battery bank that allows energy to always be produced at the lowest consumption point.
