The Italian Sea Group: No lawsuit filed for reputational damages over Bayesian
The Group led by Giovanni Costantino has asked to be able to clarify its truth

The latest chapter in the Bayesian affair recently came with the news that The Italian Sea Group had appointed BdPmarine&Law, represented by attorney Tommaso Bertuccelli, to file a lawsuit against Revtom Ltd., a company formally managed by Mike Lynch's widow, Angela Bacares, who would therefore represent the owner and ownership of the yacht, alleging reputational damage related to the Bayesian sinking. As SUPER YACHT 24 previously reported, the summons exists, but was already expected to be withdrawn yesterday.
We received a note from the TISG group, which, as a courtesy, requests further clarification. We reproduce it in full:
The Italian Sea Group SpA specifies that it has given special authority to its lawyers – who on 20 September 2024 had filed the summons that has been the subject of recent news with the Court of Termini Imerese – to block this act by 21 September 2024, at 14:01 PM via certified email, and that it has therefore terminated the mandate.
The documents relating to the summons have already been physically withdrawn.”
