The hull of the 33-meter explorer built by CPN is on its way from Trieste to Ancona.
The arrival at CdM will allow the subsequent final outfitting to begin. The Ancona shipyard is further increasing its production capacity with new investments.

The 110-ton vessel, built by the Ancona-based CPN – Costruzioni e Progettazioni Navali shipyard, founded by Massimo and Cristiana Belardinelli in 1999, is currently sailing from Trieste to Ancona, bound for the Cantieri delle Marche shipyard.
The 33-meter hull, a Nauta Air 108 series explorer with a beam of 7,5 meters, entered production in October 2023 for delivery to the CdM shipyard in these days as scheduled.
The pre-fitted vessel, constructed with a steel hull and light alloy superstructure, left the Cpn operations facility in Trieste and departed at 6:30 PM yesterday for its towed journey, which will last approximately 24 hours and conclude with its arrival in Ancona this evening. The vessel is scheduled to arrive and be hauled out at the Fishermen's Cooperative, where a travel lift will return it to shore. It will be transferred to the CdM shipyard using trailers next Saturday for further work and all interior and exterior fittings, including the paint preparation process. Delivery to the owner of this explorer yacht is scheduled for approximately a year and a half.
"The Nauta Air 108 hull is part of a program between Cpn and Cantieri delle Marche," Massimo Belardinelli explained to SUPER YACHT 24, "which includes the construction, pre-fitting, and delivery of five other larger hulls, currently under construction at our shipyards; these too will be prepared for final outfitting. This phase of the program will be followed by another phase involving the construction of 12 additional vessels that we will build for CdM."
Six more vessels of different brands are currently under construction, distributed among CPN's shipyards in Italy – in Ancona, Trieste and Marghera – and in Croatia in Trogir, where a total of 500 people work, including direct and indirect employees.
The CPN shipyard, active since 1999, has played and continues to play a key partnership role for many Adriatic shipyards—all world-renowned brands for the quality of their superyachts—managing to ensure the timely delivery of significant volumes of high-quality constructions, effectively enabling their exponential growth in this particularly favorable market phase, as Massimo Belardinelli explains to SUPER YACHT 24, adding: "The pre-fitting of the hull and superstructure accounts for approximately 20-25% of the overall order, but largely determines the timing and standards. It is therefore a crucial phase in the construction of a superyacht; a delay in delivery or imperfect work can jeopardize the shipyard's business plan or help consolidate it. Over time, especially in the last 10 years, our workforce has achieved the highest standards in steel processing, particularly in light alloys, which we have constantly developed thanks to our investments and the great experience gained”.
Work in this segment of the work is particularly active, and for this reason, Belardinelli explains: "We have two additional warehouses under construction in the Ancona port area, measuring 20 x 57 meters in length and 15 meters in height. They will be ready in 5-6 months and will give us the ability to work on a total of two additional 48-50 meter superyacht hulls, increasing our simultaneous work capacity to 14 superyachts. With this investment, we will adequately meet the growing demand for quality work. Our orders currently cover the whole of 2026. We therefore look to the future with optimism, always accompanied by a healthy dose of realism," concludes CPN's management.
