One-off Project B2 launched by Cantiere delle Marche
The explorer, completely customized by the expert owner, has a range of 5.000 nautical miles at 10 knots

Cantiere delle Marche announces, just one week after the launch of the Darwin 86 Alexa, that the One-off Project B2 was successfully launched and to the great satisfaction of its owners.
A completely custom design, Project B2, as the shipyard explains, "encapsulates all the hallmarks of a premium explorer yacht. Designed by Francesco Paszkowski, her exterior lines are austere and elegant. The spacious outdoor areas offer guests a wide range of options for relaxing in the open air. The light-filled interiors, by Paszkowski Design, exude a truly refined elegance that is completely unobtrusive. On the main deck, thanks to a wide-body configuration from midship forward, guests can enjoy four large suites, nearly identical in size and features. Two additional guest cabins are located on the lower deck."
Eight crew members enjoy spacious and well-appointed accommodations on the lower deck forward. The captain's cabin is located on the upper deck next to the wheelhouse. The tender and jet skis are stowed on the upper deck forward, while a tender is available to owners and guests for coastal explorations and comfortable transfers to and from the shore. To further enhance guest comfort, a large beach club with sauna and hammam is located at the end of the lower deck, connecting to the aft swimming platform.
Built with a robust steel displacement hull and an aluminum superstructure, Project B2 displaces approximately 440 tons. Its naval architecture, "which ensures excellent seakeeping and very modest fuel consumption," was designed by Hydro Tec. Two Caterpillar C32 Acert engines, each producing 746 kW, and 60.000-liter fuel tanks enable a top speed of 14 knots and a range of more than 5.000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
“Our intense activity, on all fronts, is there for all to see. At CdM, we are committed to providing the highest quality and exceptional service to our clients. Our clientele is made up of some of the most experienced and knowledgeable individuals in the yachting community, and we strive to consistently exceed their expectations,” says Vasco Buonpensiere, co-founder and CEO of CdM, who adds: “This one-off project is perfectly aligned with CdM's approach in both design and technical content. B2 integrates and interprets in an original form the best elements of CdM's semi-custom explorer yacht ranges, Darwin Class, Flexplorer, RJ, and Deep Blue. This project stems from our extensive experience in building explorer yachts and the invaluable advice of the owners, a beautiful family who entrusted us with the construction of their yacht.”
