Extra Yachts sells first X90 Fast unit

The model is the sportiest of the renewed Extra range

NEW X90 FAST HARDTOP_View01

The first X90 Fast unit has been sold by Extra Yachts; delivery is scheduled for summer 2025.

The client, the shipyard informs, was introduced by Kristina Falkone of Aberton Yachts, a company that has previously sold its two X96 Triplex, hull no.3 and no.4.

Designed by the Milanese studio Hot Lab, the new X90 Fast has an unmistakable line; the windows hidden in the hull allow for a linear silhouette and guarantee a great deal of interior brightness.

This model is the sportiest in the renewed Extra range: built on the extensive experience gained with the 76, 86, 88, and 99 models, this new 27-meter CE-class project is entirely GRP and offers a proven and efficient layout. It features a spacious day lounge, separated from the aft cockpit by the customary galley with sliding windows, which not only provides a break between the two areas—Extra Yachts explains—but also serves as a transition and flow distribution space. From the galley, the crew reaches both their quarters, located forward of the engine room, and there is also access to the sundeck (also possible via the external walkway). All this to leave the forward lounge and the helm station (designed with a smoked glass enclosure) free from secondary flows and, when necessary, for the exclusive use of guests.

The lounge offers the option of having an internal dining table or opting for a large relaxation area with a bar.

The exterior spaces are the true highlight, boasting 86 square meters of space to meet the needs of owners who value their connection to the environment and the sea. The cockpit is divided into three levels: a dining table for 8-10 people, a living area with a C-shaped sofa and sundeck, and finally, at water level, the bathroom area.

The sundeck includes a large sundeck, a dining and relaxation area, and a fully equipped bar. The optional version can include a second helm station and a rigid T-Top.

At the bow of the main deck, a C-shaped sofa with a fold-out table completes the area. The optional version includes the option of adding a Jacuzzi with a sundeck.

The interior design, the release continues, is versatile, with two variants featuring natural wood in various elements. The color palette features a combination of white and natural wood with glass inserts. The structural furniture is lightweight to further emphasize the view outside, the eternal protagonist of the experience. Below deck, there are four double cabins with private bathrooms, with the master cabin amidships to take advantage of the maximum beam of 7,1 meters.

The crew consists of four people divided into two cabins with private bathrooms. Propulsion includes three Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines, allowing for a maximum design speed of 30 knots. Cruising speed is 24 knots, while at 12 knots the range is 1000 nautical miles.

“The X90 Fast is intended for mature owners looking for a design with strong characteristics and exceptional interior liveability with the possibility of having a customization unmatched by any option currently available on the market,” concludes the shipyard.
